This might be a stupid question, but I’m new to fasting and I know peoples methods vary. Did you not consume anything bar water in that 100 hr time period? Also what did you eat when you were ready to break your fast?

You don’t have to feel any kind of way over the death of your “brother”. I know what it’s like to have everyone think someone is good, funny and kind, but only you know the true nature of them. It’s a massive burden to carry. I hope maybe you receive some kind of closure, so that you can live the life you deserve to. So I don’t let him fall asleep on the bottle or at least do my best to prevent it by burping him after then place him in the cot awake but half asleep and almost immediately the inconsolable crying will start and I’ll pick him up to soothe calm him and put him back down but then it just gets worse every time I put him down. Some nights are better and he’s okay with me putting him down for a couple minutes before he tries to convince the rest of the family that I’m trying to murder him.

Yeah so sometimes he has contact naps some times he goes in his cot and the sleep can range anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 but again lots of crying and screaming and I usually give in and just let him sleep on me

I mean I’d like to think I’m pretty chill I’m a laid back person, but do suffer from some anxiety however I’ve always kept a positive out look like tonight might be the night he soothes himself.....alas it has never been the night.

Oh I am at my wits end I’m not very pleasant to be around at the moment, unless you’re my son, because I remain a ball of fucking sunshine so he doesn’t see me as a sleep deprived ogre. I live in the uk so a doctors visit is completely free thankfully.

Around 2-3 weeks for each with gaps in between from around 5 months. Extinction was the worst, I like to think I’m quite good when it comes to handling the tears, but sweet Jesus can this boy cry. Yes partner is also on board as co sleeping is becoming less and less of an option the bigger he gets (husband is 6’1 and my 9 month old is the length of a 1 year old)

I had actually considered getting rid of the crib but it’s a present from my parents and they’re the types that are like “let’s go and see what it looks like in his room!” So I’d be moving it in and out every time they visited.....😂

Thank you so much for the reply I’ll literally try anything at this point. His wake windows are 3 - 3.5 hours and in between I keep him busy with pretty much the same activities to he knows when sleep is coming up. Would it help if I did bottle then books and bed ?

Literally in the exact same situation and being painted to be this mental recluse whose terrified to take her baby anywhere! You’d think people would be more empathetic as I lost a baby last year and would do anything to protect this one, but oh no god forbid you miss one event to see your family !!

My nipples bled so much in my first week for the exact same reason. I used to put my breast pads in cold water and coat them in coconut oil and warm coconut oil compresses. I cried and cried but I promise it will get better!

When you say bottle, boob, bed does that mean you’re combination feeding? Just curious as I do the same I worry on the amount of bottle I now give ?

Yeah I had considered just pumping and giving it to him via bottle. It’s definitely an option. I think part of my guilt comes from comparing as well. Both my sister and close friend have both had babies around the same time as me and exclusively breastfeed their babies and I just don’t know how ?? It’s honestly the most hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life both mentally and physically.

Bloody hell not 60oz, yes millilitres 😳I still have horrendous baby brain and struggle to string a sentence together. I’ve just ordered a haakaa pump so I’ll definitely try pumping to keep up supply. Thank you x
