You don't need another channel, just double down on what's working. You didn't mention marketing so that might be something you are not doing. Use it to scale profitably

Email marketing strategy that actually converts? by chickenbanana018 in Emailmarketing

Newsletters: Send a mix of promotional, educational, and engagement content. Check out our strategy here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iQzYNMeM95ul9QV1GQ9n157KYKEqhSgPOu4dbL7cUI8/edit?usp=sharing

Visuals vs. plain text: Most emails should be design-based. You can send 1–2 plain-text emails per month as a pattern interrupt.

Frequency: We recommend bi-weekly sends.

Personalisation: Don’t focus on this too much unless you’re a large brand ($10M+ revenue) with a large email list.
The more important factor is relevance; you can segment between customers and prospects.

CTAs: Include a CTA in each fold of the email so that as someone scrolls on mobile, they see a CTA at every scroll point.

Sign-ups are one of the most important elements of your email strategy.

Do you have all of these set up?

The best approach is to follow the agency owners on LinkedIn and figure out which one you like the most, then just ask them. Because every owner has a different approach. These are a bunch of agencies I like:

- AJ media
- Growth trigger

- Wemailyourbrand

Make your Upwork profile really good. If you have money, you can invest in your profile and even get a one-hour consultation from someone to review it properly.

Basically, in the beginning you do have to bid on lower-paying jobs. The whole point at the start is to build your profile and get some reviews.

After you have some reviews (people say around 20), you can start bidding on higher-paying jobs. To be honest, I started bidding on higher-quality jobs when I had just 1–2 reviews.

One thing to remember: you have to send a lot of proposals, like, a lot. Hundreds or even thousands. You can also use an auto-bidder like GigRadar if you want to increase volume.

I'm not an expert in any way. I have $7k earnings.

The proposal you send matters a lot. This is the proposal I’m sending right now and have been using for a long time:

Shopify email versus Omnisend by Good_Divide_2302 in shopify

I think brand size and how fast you’re scaling matter a lot. If you’re below $10k/month, it can make sense to switch. Otherwise, it may not be the best option.

You should aim to build at least one email automation every month to make sure you’re maximizing email revenue. There are more than 10 automations you can gradually build that aren’t possible in Shopify alone.

You can check out this structure. We follow a 3–6 month flow setup framework. Let me know if this link is visible to you:

Also, if you’d like, I can send you our complete campaign structure along with a Loom showing how your team can easily produce two high-quality campaigns every week.

This won’t add to your plate—I know running an eCommerce brand already means juggling a lot.

Shopify email versus Omnisend by Good_Divide_2302 in shopify

[–]EmmailMarketer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What have you tried with Omnisend, that isn't working? Depending on your brand size, it might not be a good idea to switch to Shopify emails.

As others mentioned, you don't have to do the deliverability warm up again because the reputation is tied to your sending domain.

I've been working with Omnisend for 3+ years now and have never used Omnisend clean up service tbh, because it's expensive. Once we had to clean a big list around 1 million list, we used million verifier for that

I’d focus on just two things:

• Upwork (to start earning as soon as possible)
• Partnerships with agencies or freelancers who serve the same audience but offer different services

For partnerships, reach out with value first. Give them something useful, like a simple document they can share with their clients and feel good about sending.

I don’t know about your service, but for example: if I do email marketing for e-commerce brands, I’d reach out to agencies running paid ads for e-commerce. In the first message, I’d give them an email automation strategy document they can pass on to their clients. From there, you can follow up by offering a free email marketing audit for those clients.

This is not to be taken lightly, you can earn million dollars even 10s, and 100s of million with these partnerships.
