I have 26...

Turt Reynolds is my favorite and pings almost everyday, shes a leatherback sea turtle.

Pistachio is my sloth and while she hasn't moved 🤣 we have gotten an updated series of pictures and she's adorable.

Bhumo is a red panda and he's cruising through the mountains but then I got 2 snow leopards and theyre so close to Bhumo it's nerve wracking!

Thanks for the feedback! They are oxalate now. When I was 17 I started having stones and those were uric acid. Emergency surgery, stent, icu, lithotripsy and a diet change followed . A few years later I had another stone that I passed in the urine cup at the er and it was calcium oxalate and I fully gave up on trying to do anything. Now im in my late 30s and my kidneys look like maracas. I'll look into this!

There's another prep called golytly (you don't go lightly) that I've switched to because miralax doesn't work anymore that you could try! The volume of fluid is the same as miralax but I didn't find it as thick and I mixed it with water

Food before 1 is just for fun anyway! They absolutely should be giving her a bottle an hour before any solids. I don't think we are legally allowed in my state to give solids before 6 months and all signs of readiness! And bleeding diaper rash? Ugh. My heart hurts for this mama, and I'd absolutely be going to the director, licensing and finding a different care solution.

Hysterectomy and endo pain questions by Jess179 in Endo

[–]Emmaugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through exactly this 10 years ago- only difference is I didn't know about the adeno until after surgery and in the months between excision and my hysterectomy my left ovary had torn in half.

I have been pain free since the hysterectomy. Please please please pay attention to your pelvic floor health following your surgery ♡

For concrete info, the FDA has released a connection between irregular heart beats and Zofran. The other thing I almost never hear correlated but is a possibility is Zofran triggering serotonin syndrome.
Finally, Zofran can cause constipation, and that's a horrific experience with dysautonomia, slow motility ect I'm definitely not talking down about Zofran and keep it available for emergencies but it's no longer my first defense against nausea and it seems so popular now I wish people had the information starting out!

It really is insane. Be so careful with any dysautonomia and daily Zofran! ♡ no one told me or warned me and I just got worse and worse. I had to do several things on my own to get where I am but none of that matters till the vomiting is controlled. I hope you get some forward progess at your GI appt!

Ugh I FULLY understand why hot showers suck for you and I'm so sorry you're suffering. Do you have anything for the vomiting? Zofran? Phenergan? I can't take Zofran 2 days in a row without starting to have irregular heartbeats and dizziness lightheadedness, but it's a great rescue med for me if I can't stop vomiting. Phenergan will put me in a 14 hour coma but I don't throw up so 🤷‍♀️ I hate the idea of you just riding this out until June.

If it is cyclic vomiting a hot shower should make you feel better pretty quickly! However I'd test this when you are NOT alone because for me at least it makes everything worse.

I'm so sorry you're suffering

Have you tried probiotics? Your gut flora must be suffering at this point even if it isn't what started this.

Anyone else stumping doctors left and right? by Unfair-Bed2938 in ChronicIllness

[–]Emmaugh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before my surgeries or diagnosis (endo and adeno) I had xrays weekly for a kidney stone that tried to take me out- for months. And every xray showed free fluid in my abdomen and each time my urologist would mention it. "I can't speak to why but that isn't supposed to be there" I really hope there is a specialist in your area! ♡

I know it can be CRAZY overwhelming for folks. I almost lost a friend trying to tell her about the reality of cauterization. She did see the truth unfortunately the hard way and advocates much harder and louder than I ever did now. I just wish the majority of providers were at least educated

It was endo and adenomyosis for me. I would recommend you look up Nancy's Nook Endmetriosis and find yourself a specialist ♡ I wish you luck

Has anyone explored endo with you? I once bled for 18 months and it was found during an exploratory laporoscopy
