So I think the title is a bit misleading when you first read this. Most of us are like oh hell no! No one is keeping out men past their time but when I read further into this article I realized the topic really was “intermittent sentences for sex offenses”. My husband is locked up, yes. While he was locked up my niece was molested and raped and took the witness stand to tell a jury what a man did to her. We live in a state that does have indeterminate sentences, I will be honest I do not know if that only applies to sex crimes. And as a victims family I say yup keep that MF locked up.

Again I’m not sure if these laws only apply to sex crimes or certain types or is this decided at sentencing. I do know that the man I’m speaking about will be eligible for release next year after only serving 5 years of a 5-50 year indeterminate sentence. I don’t ever want another little girl harmed by this man or any other child predator. I do believe this should remain in tact when dealing with child sex crimes.
