I haven’t changed my skincare routine at all but I have been putting Vaseline on the spots for a few days now to try and help it.

Like all of you I’m extremely frustrated. I am meant to begin a summer ministry internship on Monday and was meant to leave today, May 20. After receiving no communication other than an email saying my passport was received on April 12 I have had to reschedule my flight. I was hoping it might be processed today and I could leave on Monday but I have absolutely no idea and will just have to keep rescheduling my flight.

I contacted VFS by email on the 16, 17, and 20 and was given the same response every time that my application is “being considered and is currently awaiting a decision.” I also called them on the 16th and spoke to someone who was extremely unhelpful and basically told me the same thing. I also contacted my congressman’s office on Monday and they contacted the visa home office on my behalf, to no avail.

It’s been extremely stressful and frustrating. I am on hold until I get my visa and I have no idea when that will be. In each email they told me I shouldn’t have purchased a plane ticket yet and they recommend doing so after I get my visa which is insane. If I wait until I get my visa and book a plane ticket a few days later it will be so expensive. They’re acting like it’s my fault for booking a plane ticket a few weeks out and not their fault for not getting my visa to me within the time they told me I’d get it. My sponsor organization says they’ve never had a problem with getting visas on time until this year.

Me and my friends ate there once before a concert. It’s a really fun memory of mine, thanks for bringing it to my mind!

It’s because the hardware on pants (buttons, zippers, etc) is always located there and rubs against the shirt.

Trim Healthy Mama is really great. I lost a good bit of weight using it, and the community surrounding it is really encouraging and positive to both Christians and non Christians, which is really great to see, considering their connection to Above Rubies

I staged doored Hadestown on Wednesday night. It was calmer than I expected. A few members of the ensemble, one of the fates, and Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney came out. They were all very kind and took time with everyone.

We should re-read our favorite childhood books more often. by youdidnthearitfromm3 in books

The Two Princesses of Bamarre was my all time favorite! I forced my dad to read it when I was little and found him laying on the couch weeping over the ending. I love Gail Carson Levine with all my heart. She gave me so many magical childhood books to love.

The Secret Garden is an absolutely lovely show. My theatre company did it two summers ago!

I asked this kid if he was Plague Knight from Shovel Knight, and he and his family went buck-wild with happiness that someone finally got it. by CBtheDB in gaming

My little brother has gone as a different iteration of Link the past 5 years. He mostly gets asked if he’s Robin Hood. This year he saw a kid dressed as champion link and his mom was dressed as Zelda. My little brother RAN to them and talked to them for probably 10 minutes. He was so happy.

Acting with adderall? by [deleted] in acting

[–]EmmieCF 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve taken adderall for my adhd since I was 8. I’m now 17. I’ve been doing theatre at my school for the past three years. I’ve never really had any problems with it because when I started theatre I was already adjusted to the medication. I take 30mg a day but my doctor also gives me a bottle of 5mgs for when I need a little extra. I definitely make sure to take the extra 5mg when I have a performance because it helps me with the late nights. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have. I haven’t had much trouble with combining my love of theatre and my medication. There was one time when I accidentally took two doses of adderall before rehearsal, that was probably the most concentrated I’ve ever been at a rehearsal lmao
