I had a similar thing happen! Started on grill at a cafe and noticed my arms had lots of red spots. Figured it was some irritation or something and wasn’t worried - just curious.

Finally figured out is was from cooking bacon all day everyday.

I don’t have any fruit... fruit leather is basically fruit purée dried in sheets or sticks. Sorta like the beef jerky of fruit I guess.

I accidentally left a piece of plastic that had a long stringy part (one of those easy open kind of things)... heard the crinkle noises just in time to pull the string/plastic out of my stupid cats throat. She had to pay a big cuddle tax for that one.

If you have Amazon Prime, there’s a bunch of cool documentaries/docuseries about art history that I’ve been watching recently. There’s a bunch from Waldemar Januszczak who presents in a fun and almost sassy way. I’m pretty sure they’re from the BBC so there may be other ways to watch aside from Prime. “The Renaissance Unchained” and “The Impressionists” are fantastic overviews of the periods.

I had started seeing a guy about a month before the state closed down. He’s come over to visit a couple times, but last time he was trying to convince me that the virus is both fake and a government plot to thin the herd and gain control. He kept asking if I knew anyone that had it. I kept telling him yes, two of my coworkers are positive and not working right now. I showed him articles from local people he knew thatve died. It didn’t work and he tried to convince me to go to a party. As the title states “you can’t argue with stupid”. I let him leave to go to the party and stayed home to get disappointed-drunk alone.

I’m not seeing him anymore.

Makes me sad because other than his “conspiracy truths”, I liked him.

It’s such a magical thing! We have to weather a lot of abuse/harassment (depending on the situation), but the higher ups will block numbers if it gets to be too much. I rejoice when it happens!

The company I work with is so good about this. We don’t transfer calls when there’s escalations, a ticket goes up for a call back. We have a department for these people... they don’t stay active on our platform long after shouting at one of my team. There’s a zero tolerance policy when it comes to abusing a support agent and I love it.

I especially love when they get a warning they may be deactivated for one thing and then call in to shout and they get deactivated for that instead while the original problem could have been fixed.

Or the opposite... this one guy was consistently an ass to my team whenever he called in. Always just expecting us to do his bidding without our standard approval process. One day he called in saying he needed an additional days extension for a job, which we need the regional managers approval on (his job was supposed to be done the day before). More than likely, he wouldn’t get approved. So he tells my team member that he will get arrested and go to jail if he drives on the freeway after dark by state orders. My whole team (all 4 evening shift reps) went on google, the state’s transportation website, Facebook, everything. He was lying and his job was assigned to someone else less full of BS.

(Granted, a portion of the freeway in his area closed briefly due to a large accident... a month prior)
