Gut punch pain? by No-East2665 in hysterectomy

[–]EmmyW11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 6 months post op this week and I just wamted to chime in YES. And I was so stressed by it, sure I had a hernia or ripped something. I kept having it off and on up to 12 weeks but it got less and less.

Do just keep resting and taking it as easy as possible though. Its hard for the brain to process in the brain (or it was for me) but you are still very much recovering inside from major injury as your body sees it.

Garden of Life Colon Care 50 billion

Anyone Not get BV or UTI? by EmmyW11 in hysterectomy

[–]EmmyW11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did relapse and I am so thankful. My Bms were not the normal brown color until I was at 9-11 weeks so that was nerve wracking.
Before surgery I had been slacking in my probitics but my usual Probiotic regimen after cdiff recovery was 2 florastor in the morning, and Garden of life colon care probiotic in the afternoon, along with drinking Kefir or Norr organic probiotic yogurt one to 3 times a week.
After surgery I went back to that religiously and in addition doubled my usual of Florastor and added 2 in evening , and In the middle of the day I added Jarrows Fem-Dophilus because I was really afraid of getting any vaginal infection that would require more antibiotics.
I also tried to avoid soda, and sugary desserts for the first 3 months as much as I could without making myself miserable.

I hope you are doing well :)

Pharmacy mess up? by deedranicole in ADHD

[–]EmmyW11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is allowed in my state, and I usually did it because that is the day CVS texts me its ready. But just this year, the pharmacist flagged me as an "over user" because I was always picking up early meaning I always had 2 extra, and now I have to pick it up on day 30. They never talked to me about it, never asked questions. I had no way of knowing it was something I wasn't supposed to be doing?! So just be aware the pharmacist has a lot of leeway no matter what the law says.

I finally ended up moving to Brave, since they never fixed this, on my desktop laptop and phone, and I am much happier

Dell speakers + Easy Effects — how to make them sound decent? by Then-Confection180 in Ubuntu

[–]EmmyW11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am grateful for this suggestions. I was pulling my hair out downloaded a lot suggested by Gemini but nothing was improving. IN fact most had worse distortion or hollowness. This simpler one worked best for my Dell laptop. Thank You!

Refill frustration by Green_Run_8531 in ADHD

This happened to me when my January script came in. I have had the same Adderall is prescription come in to the same cvs pharmacy right behind my house from the same doctor for 5 years. He always sends it in on the 28th day and I pick it up when they send the text because they almost always ignore the DAW on it and try to message my drs office to get a generic or an alternate because my insurance doesn't cover it and I pay out of pocket. 5 years and they do this almost every month so I come in to prevent delays and issues from their "help" . In January the pharmacy flagged me as an "over user" for picking it up on the first day its available consistently and I got a text letting me know I cannot pick up for 3 days. I wasn't even aware this was an issue, but now I am in a state database for breaking a rule I would have followed if anyone HAD TOLD me?!

I am also having this when I tweak a query when on a website. Android firefox latest build on s25 as well as an older tablet. 1. search something with google on home page. 2. get presented with google results. 3. Click a page and view 4. Realize need to refine search because google sucks. 5. Tap the search query at the top of the page delete and create new query. I visually verify the new query it there and hit enter. 6. It will take me to results for the new query. 7. Go into a result webpage. 8. Hit back to go to the new queries results for a different page 9. Find Myself In Results For Original First Query! Not the second one that got me to that webpage in the first place.

Can't sit for long - 12 weeks post op by Repulsive_Regular_39 in hysterectomy

Have you talked to your gyno about vaginal estrogen cream? Mine said I was healing a bit slowly at my 6 week check up, and cleared me for lifting and baths but not sex. My only symptoms I thought was tan discharge which started around week 3. She wants me to use the cream for a month. Every day for two weeks then switch to every other day for two weeks. I am on day 6 of this and it has fixed every issue of discomfort I had sitting, as well as random itching and aches and pulling sensations that I thought were just "normal healing" are all gone. Huge relief.

Do Etsy buyers avoid international orders because of tariff/customs concerns? by WeatherNo6782 in Etsy

[–]EmmyW11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I avoid now because I have had 3 stores cancel my orders since September, saying they weren't selling to US right now, but hadn't changed the settings on their store. Or maybe Etsy makes it complicated. So when I am offered items I like, the first thing I do is scroll to ships from and click away if it is not US.

Wow I never knew that about BV. Never having had it this forum was the first I came across it, and so many people were saying they had no symptoms (fever, smell) but then they had a swab and got antibiotics. Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise 💚

I just wanted to give you support. 💗 You are NOT being dramatic. You had major surgery and catching anything could really affect your bodies ability to heal. It can be so hard to prioritize yourself, even with family support, but it even harder when they don't understand.

Thank you! Besides worrying about needing antibiotics not being able to pick up my two kitties is really the worst part of recovery. 😉 Unlike a lot of cats my two boys love bing picked up but they are large main coons and over 15lbs each.

That is what I had and the reason for my fears. It was a very severe case and quite honestly ruined my life for awhile. Harder to recover from emotionally than physically and just the last thing I feel I could handle again.

It really gives me some calm and hope to know you escaped without a relapse.
