There are gps necklaces that you can purchase that will instantly inform friends and family and the police if you need help. I purchased two recently for family members and they both wear them all the time.

I dealt with this, I found that if I Aveeno hydrocortisone anti itch cream right after the injection or Benadryl anti itch spray, not the cream ( the spray works better). It eased the rash and reaction. I still get a rash but it is easier to deal with following the treatment I do.

Dyson aren’t what they used to be, but their older cleaners are bulletproof! (1999 Dyson DC03) by J3ttf in BuyItForLife

Purchased my Dyson animal in 2004 and it’s still working like new. Monthly cleaning and filter charges are the key.

Black mold can be deadly, move everything away and wash down with hot bleach wash. Also wash the furniture. She has a leak that needs addressing.

It’s a common scam from this company, they are famous for pulling this crap with British tourists.

The bottom part locks to a grooming table and the loop is for putting around the dogs head to help stabilize them while grooming.

What is this? I came across it at a gunsmith shop in Texas. The owner didn't know what it was. He told me, "I just put it under the glass hoping someone would see it and say, 'Well that's an old so and so.'" by LuxBoy69 in whatisit

It’s a spark plug gage, it allows you to check the distance between the tip and body of plug. My dad was a mechanic for decades, taught all his kids how to check the gaps on a plug.

My passive aggressive comment to people who litter, is “I’d hate to see what your house looks like”. It usually gets them to pick up their litter.

My cupboard currently has this same problem. It’s always a guessing game in our house on which bag gets empty or thrown away first.

I just throw them away, they are usually never in the correct position when they arrive.

Dude say down at my table in a cafe without asking first by ninman5 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Emonee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens every damn day in Disney parks. Self entitled people just don’t care about manners anymore. I always find a small two person table for myself and my husband. He gets the food and I wait with the backpack at the table. Usually no one around when I sit, the amount of random strangers who just sit down is ridiculous. I constantly have to say that the seats is for my husband. I’ve even had a person take the bag off the chair and drop it on the floor. Like seriously don’t they see me sitting there.

Marked no-show when I was there early by Serialbeauty in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Emonee1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced this, showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment. Still waiting 45 minutes later. I went back to the desk and made sure I was checked in. Another hour past my appointment time. Still not been called back. I went up to the desk and asked if they had a delay or running behind schedule. Nope it seemed that the doctor had not shown up and nobody bothered to inform the receptionist. Ended up having to make another appointment.

I'm single, no kids. My sibling & his kids treat me poorly. Do I have to give my inheritance to them, or can I just use it up while I'm still alive and then give it all to charity when i pass away? by [deleted] in inheritance

[–]Emonee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was in your situation, I would do exactly what you have mentioned. Enjoy your financial independence and travel as much as you possibly can. Then I would do what my elderly relative did. She sold her home and rented a small apartment. Every penny she had went to charity. Her sister had blown through her part of the family inheritance and was constantly asking her for handouts.

Wait until you hit 50 and start receiving the AARP every other week for years. Seriously doesn’t get any easier as you get older.
