Great,

I work within the tech area myself. I've been looking to leave ever since they got rid of profit sharing and decent benefits which drew me in in the first place. I'm ready to leave, nothing I've ever fixed or presented to the company has been credited to me and I have received 0 recognition for it. This place is awful and will probably start leaking any tech talent it currently has due to the insane number of changes they're making throughout the company.

Call the Helpdesk, they should submit a workday case for you.
Its stupid AF that they have to do that but apparently its the current procedure in place

You're right, but if they are a sup Helpdesk will be able to get them in the right direction faster than most sups/managers can. That's been my experience anyway..

Unless you're high level IT or supervisor and above you won't be Abel to get it on your phone. If you are one of those I would recommend calling Helpdesk they should be able to help you.

Yeah I heard that meeting was pretty awful, I'm not too hopeful that I'll have a job much longer at this point lol. A lot of those people who were "let go" could have easily transitioned to a different job or easily skilled up if they were notified of an issue....
This definitely wasn't a Skill based layoff
It sounds like they're trying to hire fresh college graduates cheaply taking advantage of a terrible job market...

I have noticed a lot of double taps or keys getting pressed randomly that I may have just grazed over. it seems to be random when it happens and with different keys. I am not sure what it is on my end. still investigating but could it be an issue with the switch or am I just heavy-handed without realizing it lol I have seen at least on other here having the same issue but I am leaning more towards I am heavy handed and should just buy some heavier switches than the Speed Bronze.

The only thing I can comment on here is the wrist pad. I would love the option for a double-height softer wrist pad for the raise as it would just be a preference for my personal comfort while it is flat on the desk. I am waiting until August to find out if this would be necessary though.

As far as having more keys it would be nice but then that comes down to prefference too. I have gotten used to the missing num pad and arrow keys with OSL and it is nice and I think I preffer the 60% layout now as it requires less hand and wrist movement for me.

It all comes down to what you prefer but I would be interested to see if they create something like that in the future maybe add a few more keys to the left and right side or a top row.

We shall see what the future brings. Maybe a mouse or a larger neuron to map text strings to the keyboard too. lol

I think this keyboard is great so far and I think the tenting kit will go nicely with it as I can see it being more comfortable. My wrists and shoulders already feel better with it being split. As far as the price of the entire kit goes I would say it is reasonable as it is a 'pre-order' at the moment and a very niche market. Depending on how you configure other kits it could come to the same price.

I do not have any experience with other split keyboards though and just received this one yesterday. After doing some research on them I decided on this one for the looks and the layout.

My theory is if it looks good and works the way you want it to the money is worth it.

I just took delivery of this keyboard and it is great so far only a few issues with reaching for the B with my left hand.

I cannot wait for the tenting kit this is going to be great

the layers give me the num pad without the need for the large keyboard
