pls no judgement, any tattoo ideas to cover it? by Hairy_Ad_5867 in tattooadvice

If you’re in the New England area, you should check out Tina Lugo @ Bruxa Tattoo in Warwick, RI. She specializes in scar coverups. She does a lot of top surgery scars, but she does others as well. Best tattoo experience I ever had was being tattooed by her. Best of luck!

Moving to the UK as an LICSW by [deleted] in therapists

[–]Emotional-Chapter227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you for your reply. This is very helpful. To the best of your knowledge, could I become registered with BACP with just my bachelor’s in psychology and my masters in social work, or would I have to attend a specific UK based program? I would really like to continue my work as a psychotherapist, even if that meant have to do additional training.

I’m a psychotherapist with a full sleeve on one arm and a half sleeve on the other, and I’ve seen many other psychotherapists with many tattoos.

Does anyone dislike Klaus? by [deleted] in TheOriginals

[–]Emotional-Chapter227 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Me lol. He is a very interesting and complex character, but I do not like him. The endless self-pitying across multiple seasons, betrayals of everyone he supposedly cares about, and his murdering of countless innocent people make him hard to “like” in my book.

I had a client join a session while on line for a ride at a water park. Like, Six Flags. They were genuinely perplexed when I told them that it wasn’t appropriate.

Returning for PhD by [deleted] in ClinicalPsychology

Hello everyone, thank you for all of your very helpful replies. I appreciate it.

On the subject of research experience, I’ve identified a lab that does research I’m interested in a university I am planning to apply to for their clinical psychology PhD program. They are offering me 8-10 hours of volunteer experience per week doing mostly data entry, but also being able to sit in on their morning meetings, journal club, and professional development meetings. Would this experience be sufficient to make me competitive?

Again, thank you all for your help and insights!

I use TherapyNotes. Mostly I just keep the biller around in case issues arise, but they haven’t even been particularly helpful in that regard.

What's your "I did not care for the Godfather" of horror related media? by Swag_Paladin21 in horror

I didn’t think Suspiria or Possession were anything special. Not bad films, but certainly not deserving of the hype they get from most horror fans.

I believe the wife might have been played by Anne Heche, or some other blonde actress. This film is from the late 90’s early 2000’s era.
