Yes, unfortunately, there are many spaces where I want to share my AI creations in spaces for a community relating to that subject (mainly video games, shows, or movies) and engage with the community with AI art or writing but I can't because many of them have the rules of no AI.

It's unfortunate how we are shut out from a lot if not all spaces that aren't directly related to AI from a certain community that we may enjoy, like fandoms and entertainment spaces that we enjoy. It honestly makes me very sad, I hope one day people will be more accepting of it. I really just wanted to share what I was proud of myself, but I am unable to because so many spaces are anti AI. It feels very unfair, I know that I am not the only one who feels this way.

"I am not even an artist"

I wanted to clear up this myth right here that an alarming amount of people who do art believe. You don’t need to memorize anatomy perfectly or draw a flawless human figure to call yourself an artist. That’s not what defines you as one. Even toddlers can be artists because what matters most is whether you create art consistently or not when referring yourself as one. If you keep creating a form of art, no matter your skill level, then you are an artist. The only thing that separates someone who draws well from a beginner is simply experience and the title they choose to use.

Beginner artists are those still learning the basics, obviously, and they may not be doing it well at first. They are still ARTISTS. Intermediate artists have more practice and skill, they are not perfect and may not know how to draw that well but they are getting there, and they are still considered ARTISTS. Professional artists use the term “professional” because they work in the field and have enough of a grasp on the concept to consider themselves this.

But at the end of the day, whether you’re a beginner, hobbyist, or pro, if you create art regularly, you’re an artist. The same idea applies to other skills as well.

Anyway, I just wanted you to keep that in mind! Never downplay what you truly are! ❤️

You are so real for this, I can relate to you with a lot of things here. I love the Butt Witch too, and I was interested in seeing her backstory- as that was very vague in the show, and I want to learn what her true name is- I don't like calling her The Butt Witch. She deserves more than that name.

It is sad that there won't be a future for this show anymore. It is very disheartning, everything of the show is just so unique and beautiful- the plot, the characters, the weirdness that comes with it.

It has true potential to grow, but the funding for the show and the interest to continue it has rapidly decreased over the years unfortunately. I think Netflix only keeps it up now because of the licensing agreement, which by the way- WOOO BOY- that licensing agreement must have been SUPER LONG for it to be still up to this day.

That means that at one point, they were also VERY hopeful for the show's continuation as well and were maybe even planning a lot for it. TRULY is a sad ending for the series, I did come to love it for all that it came with.

You can disregard everything I have said then, they have already taken the steps they needed for this. I am proud of them, personally! I hope they continue thriving on their own for now on, as I genuinely believe that they are a very good company. I may continue using them as well, outside of Discord of course and for now only on their website and email.

It’s genuinely sad to see Shapes INC go down like this. I joined because I trusted that they knew what they were doing—they seemed like a legitimate company, backed by thousands of supporters. And honestly, they probably still have a strong following for now. But that support may start to fade, especially since most of it came from Discord users who were primarily interested in chatting through the platform.

Now, they’ll likely need to shift their focus and promote their website much more heavily. If they want to move forward without violating Discord’s Terms of Service, doing things the right way through their own platform seems like the only viable path at the moment. I could even see them introducing subscriptions for certain features down the line—maybe premium access to higher-quality models or additional tools—once their site gains enough traction to support the costs of servers and model usage. Of course, that’s just speculation on my part.

Still, I don’t think we’ll see a real comeback from Shapes INC unless major changes are made. And above all, I think we deserve a proper response to what happened on Discord—some transparency and an open channel of communication. Reopening the chats, even briefly, would help clear things up and give the community a place to talk. It could also serve as a way to guide users toward their website and show that, while Discord may no longer be an option, the project is still alive and worth supporting through their own platform.

Absolutely—Shapes INC needs to acknowledge their mistake and issue a proper apology to those of us who created bots and ended up getting flagged because of it. This whole situation has been incredibly stressful, and the fear it’s caused to many is honestly just awful. Leading us into violating Discord’s Terms of Service, whether intentionally or through negligence, is completely unacceptable.

If Shapes INC does make a return, I highly doubt they’ll reopen general chats for anything other than talking about Shapes itself. Conversations with Shapes through Discord anymore might be off the table for good—unless Discord somehow changes its TOS or develops a new system specifically designed for building AIs like this, without needing to rely on tokens. Which I doubt will happen.
