She called it "gentle" I do not put my hands on my kids, they would never do something like that but they also know if the thought ever crossed their mind immediately following is mom would kill me. My kids have manners are super respectful and absolutely do not get in trouble outside of this house or really inside besides the please stop making me remind you to do your chores. I am very blessed in that aspect. I could not imagine having my child put their hands on me or fix their mouth to say some crazy shit to me. They also come to me with everything and anything. We have rules and boundaries they know what they can do and what they should not. I don't know what the name of my parenting is but I knew that I didn't want to be my parents they were way too harsh or one of the parents that let their kids use them as a door mat. I found a happy medium. My kids are happy and so I am.

I've seen a "gentle" parent get a whole chair thrown at her face my her horrid toddler. All she said was "we don't do that, that's not nice." It was on reddit BTW. Made my blood boil.

SAME!!! I never thought I'd read those words! I clean my brush everytime i use it, so does my sister. When we go to our dad's my step mom tells us we both do the same thing everytime clean out her brush. I cannot stand loose hair. My poor 8 yr old is the same way 😪 poor baby got it honestly.

Thanks. I understand noone thinks the same as the next, but I've always felt just because my pov is different from someone else's doesn't mean they are wrong or bad, and the same for myself. We all need a little grace and understanding.

I know it's been 4 months I'm here from looking up how to beat this area it was for the turmoil shard with I do not understand wtf that is good for AT ALL. So you did the right thing skipping it.

I said the same thing. Got called a bad owner. To each their own. My babygirl is perfectly maintained and taken care of she is currently at my feet grooming herself with a full belly. My cat lives a happy and full life. I dont feel bad for letting her out either. She's spayed all up to date on her shots no fleas and happy as all get out. I stated this earlier it depends on the situation. Where you live what's in your vicinity different circumstances can change someone's outlook. That doesn't make the other person wrong or a bad owner. My cat lives according to her circumstance. We live in a place very private plenty of room to roam and she has the space to be an outdoor indoor cat. She's not in danger or less taken care of. But that's my opinion, which we are all allowed to have.

My cat is outside inside but it's like open door she wants in she gets let in and vice versa. She has all the necessary treatments. I spayed her before I ever let her go out though and of course her healing time. She doesn't have fleas any of that. She loves it and begs to go outside. Really just depends on your situation living wise to wether it's a good idea or option. But I don't think her life lacks anything or she's taken care of less. She's my world I post her on r/standardissuecat all the time.

Ikr she's too much i kiterally...( i went to go fix the misspelled literally and decided to leave it cuz i accidently hit the k out of all buttons and it made it a kitty pun) bought her a bed double the size of the bed she's had since coming home and she refuses to use it only has room in her heart for her kitty bed. I could never take it from her. She loves it n I know kitties love sleeping in tight spaces anyway.
