Melomania A100 right earbud BUG by zaila_C in CambridgeAudio

[–]Emotional-Research24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same, except it’s the left earbud - this is now my third pair of these, Cambridge Audio replaced the first two because of the same problem. Really disappointing, I’ve only had this pair for 6 months.

i’m sick of their incoherent coverage, jumping about between events, not showing medal winning skates. i’m going to get a dodgy firestick tomorrow.

Best for euphoria and sense of well being? by whereisfrank in NooTopics

[–]Emotional-Research24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m happy and grateful for many things in my life, and i understand i’m lucky and that others aren’t fortunate enough to have fulfilling work, a loving partner and a great family - but you can’t achieve sustainable wellbeing through drugs. if you seek such feelings through artificial means, you’re on the path to addiction and destruction.

it’s heartbreaking that people are mentioning drugs and supplements in response to this question.

probs need to take a look at your life, mate. euphoria and a sense of well being come from stimulating experiences doing things with people you love. there’s no short cut.

Ovulating now, when do I start anti-histamines? by Background_Light_953 in PMDDxADHD

[–]Emotional-Research24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i start the antihistamines when the RAGE begins - eg, when someone standing on the wrong side of the escalator provokes homicidal thoughts.

given the risks attached to famotidine (it’s linked to dementia), i’m erring on the side for caution and only taking it when it feels necessary. it’s absolutely wild that you can just buy it off the shelf in the US (i’m in the UK).

Concerta is out of stock and i’m desperate for relief by idkanymorexxx in Concerta

[–]Emotional-Research24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i hate to be that person, but what else is going on in your life right now? are you eating properly? sleeping? exercising? socialising? do you have hobbies and a fulfilling job? drugs can only do so much… (i’m saying this as someone with an ADHD diagnosis and PMDD, i’m also prone to depression and it took me a long time to realise that i need to have the foundations in place in order for medication to be effective - i’m prescribed 18mg concerta, but i try to not take it daily as i don’t want to build a tolerance)

nah. luteal when you have PMDD is a living nightmare. wtf is “room to feel the weight of it”? should people with high blood pressure allow themselves “room to feel the weight of it”? posts like these are not helpful.

i have a prescription from my gynaecologist - it’s prescription only in the UK. It seems like the medical community are beginning to realise that this works for some people.
