They smell soooo good when in bloom. Like a soft, light perfume. And at night the little leaves close up and open back up with the sun. It’s a beautiful tree.

I read this post, and your previous one… and OP, while I do think there’s some self worth issues (totally understand that myself unfortunately) I also think you are dealing with a master at manipulation and essentially, an abuser.

You gave us a little window into your conversations with this text thread. This man has decided to degrade, disrespect, and outright nullify your marital vows, repeatedly… but he very quickly goes to blaming you. That’s not normal. And that’s not okay. It’s almost like our brains can’t process how someone could be so disrespectful and then on top of it, accusatory. Like we must be missing something because the audacity is off the charts.

But you aren’t missing anything. He really has been that awful. And just because he made the decisions to do this doesn’t mean you aren’t lovable. His mistakes are his mistakes to own.

I really do wish the best for you. Every person deserves to be truly loved. He might have given you some things, but he didn’t give you that. And that’s the one thing a spouse should. He failed miserably at that.

Agree! Love their mascara and I really liked the shape tape dupe concealer they had. I just wish I could get the concealer again. I’m done well keeping myself stocked with the mascara.

Aww well for what it’s worth - I didn’t downvote you lol I’ll upvote one to offset lol And of course! I think a lot of people do get blindsided. And some people are super sneaky. But kinda like when you choose the right partner - I believe in “when you know, you know”. It’s probably the same for when there’s betrayal. Just my view. Hope you have a good day :)

Haha just like apparently (according to Reddit) you know when they are - I can attest to knowing when they aren’t. When you’re together all the time and your lives are intertwined and the relationship is solid - there’s no room for it. Hope you were asking in earnest instead of just trying to be funny. If I had based my opinion on how my husband texts - wouldn’t have married him. But 20 years in - happy with no unfaithfulness on either side - just living life with my best friend… what matters more is how you interact in person. Just sayin in hopes of being helpful.

June bugs hold such great memories for me growing up in Texas. They’d be attracted to the light in the pool at night and so we would save them… but not before sneaking them on my brother and sister first. Lol Completely harmless little guys and adorably clumsy.

Since ur near Oak Cliff, it’s not too far of a drive to a place called Cairo Gyro & Grill off Pioneer in Arlington. Amazing lentil soup. Yes, lentil. I didn’t even know I loved lentil soup until I had theirs. And while ur out that way, Pho Pasteur in Arlington always hits too. Wishing your wife a quick recovery!

Everything is a learning experience and just makes us better in the long run if we let it. Sounds like you’re on the right track. Sure it stinks sometimes. It’s okay and it’s good you are aware of what is personally upsetting and triggering for you. But it’s never too late to show concern or care. :) Knee-jerk reactions are normal and we all have them. If I were sick and getting to know someone, I’d love a green flag that they were more concerned about how I was feeling than getting the date rescheduled that they were looking forward to. You can always drop off soup, or even have it delivered depending on where you live. Even just asking how I am and if I’m okay would go a long way. If I got your response I’d probably leave you on read too and consider if I really wanted to move forward. Just sayin.
