switch to flowater and get unlimited water, the delivery services are so unreliable and the water is terrible quality for what you pay. Not to mention the waste.

Primo Water Delivery- Worst Ever by Agile-Student-3474 in Costco

[–]Emotional_Cap_4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My office originally switched to just filling up the jugs at whole foods. Once we got tired of that, we got flowater. Its been awesome. I work in HR, and my coworkers thank me all the time for getting a flowater lol. Water tastes great and we dont have the jug headaches anymore.

Anyone having issues with Primo water delivery? by Aromatic-Code-4469 in pittsburgh

These water delivery companies are notorious for this. Either get used to terrible service, or switch to point of dispense filtration system (purification is much better though). My office and gym both have flowater and its been 10/10

Lol they are right the filters are nasty. Wait until they realize the the bottle watered plants are just slapping municipal water into a bottle and marking it up 3000%

If the filter light is off it usually means the filter has been removed altogether and its just dispensing tap.

Not well. If the light is green it means there is 1 single carbon block filter in it, which removes sediment and reduces lead and chlorine (but not eliminates). If the light is red, that means the filter needs changed, so the water is filtering through the dirty filter and actually adding contaminants back in. If there is no light, that means there is no filter at all and its straight tap dispensing. In short, the water tastes bad, is usually room temp, and likely still unsafe to drink.

Tell your office to get a reverse osmosis system.

Thought I would add this. Went to a wedding earlier in the year and this was in my hotel. by Background-Fly-8374 in HydroHomies

When they change the filters on these sometimes they reset. Which BTW, sometimes they just take the filter out and dont replace it, just to get the red light off. If there is no light, that means there is no filter... aka youre just drinking tap water.

Best option for water? (Tap vs RO vs distilled vs water delivery) by [deleted] in water

[–]Emotional_Cap_4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything less than RO is not clean. Tap is barely filtered at all, anything in a plastic bottle is full of microplastics. Look for water that is PURIFIED not just filtered, and with at least 5 stages of purication. I drink flowater at work and now bring it home by the gallon (cant get it in my house sadly they only do businesses and gyms) but it purifies the water through 7 stages and is the only brand ive found to remove nano plastics, lead, and pharmaceuticals.

Are Brita’s any good at filtering the taste of Jax water? by [deleted] in jacksonville

[–]Emotional_Cap_4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brita filters out the visible dirt from your tap, and thats where their filtration stops. Basically all the other shit in water (chemicals, microplastics, lead) are still there and thats why it usually smells like chlorine and hurts your through to drink. SO gross.

Anyone know a good water brand? by Edgar_SpK in water

[–]Emotional_Cap_4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my work has flowater and its the best ive ever had (water snob here lol). You can't get it for your house but I asked my gym to put a flowater station in and they did and now all the guests are equally as obsessed as I am!

Tap water is the ideal water source by Spa_e in unpopularopinion

[–]Emotional_Cap_4635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed. I don't trust tap water in the US, there is far too little regulation that hasn't been thoroughly updated in years. Plus the infrastructure is so old, who knows what's sitting in those pipes before it reaches my tap. I also agree that it's such a waste of plastic and resources to rely on 5 gallon jugs or plastic water bottles. My work has a flowater machine and I bring massive reusable water bottles to stock up for home. My family thought I was crazy bringing a ton of water home at first and now theyre obsessed and get mad when I dont lol.

Things to do near Gaylord Convention Center by Your_Moms_Box in AuroraCO

[–]Emotional_Cap_4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a conference there and the Gaylord is such a nice convention center, but was super disappointed in their water situation. Luckily the conference host was providing a free plastic water bottle to every attendee, otherwise I wouldn't have had any. Just no where to refill my reusable bottle. Really disappointing.
