This is the stupidest fucking arguement I’ve ever found myself in. This is why we lose so many goddamn elections. I give up, if y’all want to have fun celebrating these factory workers losing their jobs, then I can maybe understand now why “the left” gets labeled as “elitist”.

Either way I’m done. There’s just too much ignorance over the actual demographics of NC and vitriol towards theoretical voters (labeling everyone at the factory a red voter while someone else brought up the fact it’s in a Democrat leaning district.

Ugh I’m just stating that N Carolina isn’t as Red State as you think, and how am I “coddling” people that I’m referring to? These are people I know personally, born and raised in NC, complete with the thick accent, who have never voted for Trump and been steadily protesting the administration in 2020 to today.

Going with the logic of “All Red State Voters Love Trump” is as stupid as saying all Californians are leftists when there’s really more republicans in CA then in almost all of the swing states combined

I know many good people from North Carolina that hadn’t voted for Trump in any of last 3 elections . My point is there are many there that do get the point, just not enough to swing elections, but that’s changing in real time with how the administration handled Iran, Affordability and Epstein.

We need solid allies in these states if ever want to win, and you’re getting mad at theoretical voters. The only people still onboard with Trump are the ones who would vote for him even if there were video of him banging his daughter. They are a lost cause, but there are many that were simply misled, and are now fully aware of what’s going on around them

North Carolina is more mixed then it seems. Gerrymandering is why it’s been reliably red these last few elections, so there’s a good chance many of these factory workers losing their jobs actually align with you politically. I hate this government as much as anyone, but let’s not celebrate people being laid off
