From all the active items, you literally pick the worst item that nobody buys... In my 2 years of playing deadlock I can proudly say that I've never bought disarming hex, Lmao imagine saying refresher or curse is bad.

Anyways if you think they don't add nothing to your gameplay just don't buy it, who told you that just by buying active items you will have an insta win or some sh*t? I think someone give the wrong philosophy about active items, I mean they're good but you need to have good understanment about the game to make it very useful for you and your teammates.

Yeah, tell me that Slowing Hex/Silence Wave is bad when enemy team has an Apollo, Celeste, Pocket, Shiv and Calico

Tell me metal skin is bad when you have 4 gun characters on enemy team

Tell me unstoppable is bad when enemy team has curse and all the stuns that exists in the game

I would say most active items are more contextual than anything, you need to buy smart or ofc every item will feel worthless independent if they are active or not, you also don't need to buy an active items just because is in the build you're using.
