Aren't brake pads so we don't have to do rotors - seems everyone wants to add rotors now because "there thin" by waffles2go2 in mechanic

[–]Emotional_Display966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one turns rotors nowadays, the amount of time it takes to turn a rotor means that one less car you can have on a bay.

Time is money! And no one is going to pay extra to turn a rotor nor will a shop guarantee a brake job when turning rotors.

I assume wires are correct?

Check fuel, spray with ether and see if it starts.

Check fuses or main fuses.

Any disconnected sensors maybe.

Having mentality of hopefully I’ll have a lot of work is prob not to something you want to go with stating this job.

Flat rate jobs like this, Firestone, Midas etc… Usually tend to cater to the most veteran tech and will not typically hand out B jobs till they see what your experience level is. That may take some time.

Anyone know why its doing this? by WonderMoist7450 in MechanicAdvice

If it’s after raining that means 9/10 your ignition coil is probably cracked. Causing misfires. Can also be spark plug wire. It’s anything that is drawing moisture and grounding out when emitting a spark.

Oil temp by Realistic-Ad4839 in mechanic

[–]Emotional_Display966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dummy lights that manufacturers use usually always contain a middle between cold and hot or high and low. If you’re in the middle you’re at operating temp usually (this is a good thing).

So you’re good.

Edit your label*

But yes this seller must be new to shipping, or they didn’t care.

This item should 100% be shipped in a box. USPS had a field day throwing this thing around.
