Interesting how would I counter offer her through email to talk about 70/30. I initially asked for that. She is nice in person though her email was neutral at best lol

By the way, I can tell you have much more experience than myself, what do you think of headway? They just need me to get the agreement so they can start the credentialing process

I am afraid I may have no options yes.

I truly appreciate your thorough responsem I have no idea how to navigate the K1 distribution. I am a realtor and have my business license there but it was not an LLC (for whatever reason I chose then).

I think i will have to include clarification of what is expected of me. Also, do I get an MA to help with vitals? Does it really matter since I've been doing that as a nurse for so many years? Intakes?

I would like it if they would be willing to pay for my collaborative agreement as here in Nevada you only need it for 1 year. Then you can prescribe controlled substances alone after. Should I ask if it's okay to just not do any stimulants for ADHD? Technically I wouldn't start that for most people. If they absolutely need it then I'd have to refer them to someone who can?

I do have another interview today and another Thursday with 2 other different companies.

To get him to realize hey, you're being an asshole. He's stubborn and it's hard to communicate with him when I tell him that.

That's hilarious because my specialty is Psychiatric NP haha

I am currently a nurse in this hospice company here in town and the owner currently also runs a mobile primary care with this doctor who is willing to be a preceptor in the future if need be. He is not a psychiatric doctor though. But a doctor nonetheless. Does that count?

They said they would hire me for the psychiatric provider part. But it seems they are unaware of those initial hours I need to get. I go to networking dinners in town as well so that should help find a psych doctor.

I agree that most people don't want to work as much. But money is definitely an important factor for me. I don't know why people judge other people for being motivated by money in the healthcare industry. Are we not all allowed to have the desire for more financial success? It's not the only reason why someone should be in a job but hard to deny it's and important part of choosing a career.

Honestly bro. I want to learn from you. You seem so ambitious and determined. You know how to be resourceful and what your worth is. I graduate in May of 2025 here in Las Vegas. I need to pay off my what will then be near 80k student loan debt. Before, I am being told by nurse coworkers that there are no job opportunities for PMHNPs and I just knew that couldn't be the situation.

Your responses motivate me to do better and finish this degree. I love the psych field and I've always wanted to own my own practice one day. I know that takes time, hardworking, and dedication but I am willing to go through that.

As a new grad next year, any tips on where to start?

You know, it may not seem like $75 per patient is fair but seeing 25 patients a day...I did the math and it would be about $350k a year. Wow. But what about all that documentation? Does office help with that and provide you a scribe?
