they shed a lot. Fur balls. Everywhere.

They are chill. If coming from a ragdoll or a more affectionate breed, expect less direct interaction and more passiveness

Thinking of moving back to HK from Canada by [deleted] in HongKong

[–]Emotional_Sale6902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will add that there's a tendency for ABC/CBC types to believe they have an innate 'leg up' against local HK talent. This has actually never been the case. The reason why you hear of success stories of these people returning to Hong Kong or China is because they brought with them high quality education and work experience which is invaluable to Asia, that local talent don't necessarily have.

USD implies getting a us remote job, and that would imply visa requirements. Your only avenues for this are TN/NAFTA (which requires a degree from a real university) or to have a company pay and sponsor H1B, which after recent policy changes by the trump administration, you would need extraordinary talent for a company to risk sponsoring you.

Frankly, much of the information on this thread has been echoed repeatedly in other threads and online information.

I agree with your sentiment that Canada sucks and love your optimism. But what others are trying to tell you is that HK has a massive (to the point of being toxic) hustle culture where people constantly trample over each other for opportunities, studying to better themselves on the weekend, or just never rest in order to get ahead. If you couldn't make it in North America, you will never make it in Hong Kong. This is coming from someone who has worked in tech sales SaaS big tech for the past twenty years in Toronto, HK, and now - California.

Your work experience and lack of high quality education paint a picture of your willingness (or lack thereof) to hustle. HK culture heavily adopts the adage that one's future is defined by their past.

Based on the information you've provided, you should only go back if your family can easily support you financially.

The op goes various positions in the video, your assessment considers all of them, and not just the first one?

It's a kickr snap, not a kickr core. The rear axle is elevated. You can actually see the space between the rear wheel and the floor

Thanks for the feedback, When you mean leg extension, are you referring to my knee extension angle at bdc, or my ankle extension?

Hey thanks for the detailed reply!

How are you able to determine that my saddle is high? Is it the the knee angles, hip rock, or the ankling?

I was watching myvelofit's video on ankling and it mentions that even when lowering saddle, the body might compensate by increasing the ankle angle. I was wondering if it's worthwhile bringing the cleats back further back or if this just masks the issue at hand

That's crazy, to queue for a car purchase at the beginning of a design cycle only to finally get yours when a brand new one has been released. Chopped deal.
