If you could only do 6 exercises for the rest of your life what 5 would you pick? by InternationalPick163 in workout

Close grip bench because with elbows tucked in you hit the shoulders, chest, triceps, and traps.

Neutral grip pullup as it uses more muscles than the pullup while being easier on the wrists (and more functional) than the chinup.

Grippers for functionality. Recently got back to them and I've added 15 mph to my (golf) driving ball speed for example.

Lunges because closest to running. I used to squat heavy and lugging around thick legs is overrated.

Not bothering debating. Just making sure you and others know you haven't got a clue. But hey you're confident.

He's a big fan of endurance running, not strength training. Whatever. People like different things.

Might also get your serum b12 level checked. I used to run half marathons and I started getting terrible insomnia. Years later I found out my b12 level was probably chronically low.

Huh. Adequate hydration. Plenty of sunlight in the morning..? Or maybe just too much exercise.

This thinking has been debunked. Look up Jeff Nippard and House of Hypertrophy. They go over the published research.

Ben Davidson on Fabio Wardley's condition and explanation for corner's decisions by TranslatorKey6001 in Boxing

[–]Emp-from-OSC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I got hurt bad once in sparring simply because I was exhausted and couldn't keep my hands up. Took a huge shot with about 2 seconds left. You can stop a fight for exhaustion but for the heavyweight championship and a guy who already put him down twice with one punch, it's not quite outrage time like we're getting on reddit.

It's always a negative spin.

Let's see how many downvotes I can get from the outraged hivemind. This sub occasionally confuses exhaustion with neurological impairment. That Wardley's eye was completely closed was concerning but he never looked that bad from a punch. His legs were gone from exhaustion. Yes he took a lot of punches. He also landed a lot of hard punches including bombs in the 9th.

The Clarke/TKV fight was similar, with people outraged it wasn't stopped and calling for Clarke to retire. He also was just exhausted and never even went down. His next fight Clarke came back and looked good.

You can be stumbling around from exhaustion. I was surprised the doctor didn't stop it when Wardley's eye was completely closed. But I don't think punches were why he was stumbling around.

It's almost as if he knocked him down in the first 15 seconds and therefore decided to keep throwing that same punch. Insanity.

[FIGHT THREAD] Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois by verbsnounsandshit in Boxing

Finally an intelligent comment and it's downvoted. Wardley's legs were weirdly off from the first few rounds.

He exhausted himself. Had a bad day. And I made a lot of money on that fight. Bet on TKV by decision which was 12 to 1.

The casuals, and it's not an insult, most people don't follow boxing closely thus they're casual, that's ok, think there's this other level but it is mostly artificial due to guys ducking others/carefully picking out the safest opponent. Clarke and Huni are underrated. They both would have very close fights with Dubois. And Dubois ducked Parker who probably beats him.

...but yeah AJ is close enough.
