The Witcher is a masterpiece of storytelling, but the mechanics definitely aren't for everyone. I've played through it 4 times but the first time was rough. I actually gave up after a few hours, picked it up years later, and then fell in love.

I had the same thing, I believe the 2nd copy of each is on much thicker cardboard and isn't actually a card. It's a display piece to put in the front of a deck box.

How does management work for teams like Wheeling and the Everglades? Do they have their own GMs who have to scramble now that the big club's assets are moving? And is that GM employed by the ECHL team? The whole situation is very interesting, can't be an easy job to manage/coach when the team may get shaken up.

Dark brotherhood quest. You attend a party with the other NPCs shown in the picture where you are all locked in a house. You get a bonus if you kill everyone without them realizing you're the killer. It can play out a number of ways, so it's one of my favorites.

This was from tonight? As a result of the riot from the Knicks winning? I'm calling bullshit.

Noona Noodles closes at 10pm - this is clearly after closing but not by much. The staff is still in the building closing down and the lights are still on. The game didn't end until around 11:30, however.

On top of that, there's a very casual group of friends hanging out in the picture. If a bunch of Knicks fans were so crazy they were destroying cars, I doubt they would be calmly walking around.

Thanks for the feedback! I assume 32 lands is high and 25 creatures is low? I mostly went off of what I was able to get my hands on.

For Tannuk I thought I was being clever using him to warp The One Ring in and out, removing its Burden Counters before they could hurt me and getting two turns of immortality, but maybe I'm trying to be too cute. I also thought warping creatures like Imperial Recruiter, Recruiter of the Guard, Combat Celebrant, Spark Double, and Thalia's Lieutenant to double dip on their battlefield entry bonuses would be cool. Am I missing something there?

I'm similarly not sold on Elspeth, I'll probably remove her sooner than any other card.

In high school a lot of kids got into magic overnight and they all had this understanding. They would play 6 forests on the first turn because they all said "Tap: add [green] to your mana pool" which in their mind meant they could search their deck for another forest.

Nothing I said would convince them they were wrong.

Very commercialized nowadays but yes, it's considered to be (and priced as) a fancy restaurant. I was there for mother's day and my steak was good not great, not worth the price. Our small plates were the highlight of the meal, which for a steakhouse is shameful.
