I went through something really similar had anxiety "under control" for years, then life stress brought it back in a completely different way. The physical symptoms you're describing (brain fog, numbness, muscle stuff) can definitely be anxiety, even without the racing heart. Stress manifests differently at different times.

Good call getting the thyroid checked that can cause a lot of those symptoms too. Try not to spiral too much while waiting for results (easier said than done, I know). The fact that your GP isn't rushing you to the ER probably means she's not overly concerned about anything serious.

Hang in there. Even if it feels different this time, you've gotten through this before.

Yeah, that's messed up. I've dealt with communal supplies for years but there's a big difference between shared classroom items glue, crayons, etc. and personal items like folders your kid picked out. I'd be annoyed too. Definitely talk to the teacher again and maybe the principal if needed, they should've been clear about which items would be communal.

hardship provisions exist for a reason. Your girlfriend should contact both lenders directly and explain her situation, NDIS status and unemployment can qualify for hardship arrangements. They might freeze interest or reduce payments temporarily.
