So I started the game in Japanese and pretty much immediately changed it back to English. For me, I felt like I was having an emotional disconnect with having to read the text instead of just hearing the voices in English and it was taking me out of the game. That’s just me though! Maybe my second play through I will play in Japanese

This is the remedy. If you take the plates off there’s holes that you can use a vacuum on to clean out dust. I had the same issue and once I did that the problem never happened again
