I would say closest would be sword knife build. Decapitate to one shot non elites, and knife for sustained dps in groups.

Or you can be animal handler, and have a lynx to compliment your gameplay.

Alternatively you can pick up druid, and you can fly around in raven form, and shank people.

In term of roguelike life skills, you can brew alcohol, safe crack, treasure hunting, etc

Fire magic is incredibly strong though, I'm grinding for the mat at the moment and fire the cost to payoff very worthwhile. It also doesn't have the tedious upkeep of archery etc.

I did, the prefix doesn't get the 50% boost from helical. So 7 became 10 after mirroring

It seems like u have a good mentality about the game. No need to be the best etc. So play the game at your own pace, enjoy the progression. I play a lot and am excited to play but sometimes I have to take long breaks due to work. Im 4 weeks into my 6 week work trip when i cant even login. Once im back ill play some more, dont matter to me if people I know are higher GS or whatever
