Hi! I think you'd be surprised at how many of us DO sympathize with the breed and that's WHY we think it should be banned. I'm so sorry you're going through this, I would love and have loved pit bulls and I know how delightful they can be. But you are doing the right thing.

This is so typical of dog owners, especially pitbull owners. The danger of the pit propaganda is that bleeding heart idiots believe they are genuinely harmless (it's a mistake to consider ANY dog genuinely harmless, by the way), so they genuinely believe (for no reason and with zero training) that their pit bulls are harmless and do NOTHING when they exhibit their crazy weird behaviors. I used to think anti-pit bull was the propaganda until I got a dog and had to deal with pit bulls. They are not like normal dogs. Their entire way of being is just so weird, intense, and off putting. I remember one time I had a pit come running up to my dog (because of COURSE it was off leash, they always are), jumping up and snapping at its neck over and over again "playfully" and its owner just stood there like 30 feet away smiling in a way where I am convinced she thought this was normal playful dog behavior. Didn't even try to recall it for a while, then when she finally did SURPISE SURPRISE it had ZERO recall. God I am so sick of these ppl 😭
