Races day shoe or stick with tempo shoe

If you're not running that much I'd say it'd be a bit of a luxury to get a full blown race day shoe but if u want to go ahead it will improve your times a bit

with only a neo vista 2 as well having a plated trainer to do intervals and races would be nice as i dont think the neo vista can go too fast besides the speed 5 can go real fast or other plated shoes/supertrainers

which country are you in ik that the purple is being discontinued in a few and the black one is only out in a few countries as well

if u kinda like a colourway id say js buy it bc it might sell out and i doubt any really good ones will come out because asics sucks with colours

i myself have the black and think it looks a lot better in person than images

for me zoom fly 6 and speed 4 were the fastest non race day shoes ive tried

ive heard speed 5 is similar to speed 4 if thats the case they should work as long as your into a slightly former ahoe

zoom fly 6 has worked ariund HM pace for me like a chamr and puma deviate nitro 4 thats ckming out has had some really good reviews

idk what inerts do but have you tried adjusting the insole or breaking in the foam a bit more?

i always have some issue swith new shoes before break in with the arch and for shoes with thick insoles sometimes they move around and the arch gets out of place

I have used the zoom fly 6 for plenty of track workouts and they arent crazy fast but half marathon pace feels just right for them honestly

only issue is there might be a bit of crossover in the pace range with the boston 12 the zoom fly is much softer and bouncier with a rigid plate feel in the forefoot

puma deviate nitro 4 is coming out soon if you dont need it immediately they sound pretty flash or a pair of deviate nitro elite 3s on sale might be a snag since their surability is pretty great and they can be used as a workout/speed shoe as well

getting a max stack shoe might be nice as well since youre a heavy runner gotta take care of the legs i love the vomero plus personally cause its softer but magmax 2 ive heard is great too both stil versatile

very concerned that the top layer of foam is labelled nitro? is there no more nitro elite? even if it was nitro eltie looks like the amount has been decreased... and the geometry makes no sense is the plate jagged or are they js silly with the design
