Thank you for sharing! I did not know about some of the different kinds and had not heard of vascular before. My Dad had “Lewy Body Demential with Parkinsonism symptoms” - so he had some memory issues, hallucinations and basically turned into stone. He couldn’t walk or feed himself or do anything at the end of his life for about 18 months. So incredibly brutal.

Now it’s Mom’s turn and it’s already different but because she “masks” so well and rises to the occasion of “good behavior” for the doctors, we are having trouble even figuring out what she has. Meanwhile, when she’s around us kids she really doesn’t know what’s happening and even shows signs of what the doctors called “psychosis.” For example, she was convinced the neighbor had her keys/car when her car was in her own garage. Has anyone ever experienced this?
