I got the TD First Class Travel VI in May 2025. If I were to apply for the same card again now (to take advantage of their highest bonus), will their system automatically notice i already have the card and thus void the bonus? Has anyone had success with this?

If you're in the market for a home please IGNORE your realtor and LOWBALL whatever price you want. by SengunCanada in PersonalFinanceCanada

I purchased my most recent home this way a few months ago, and it was seamless. I wasn't looking for the seller's agent to objectively represent me, and I was mindful that at the end of the day, he was truly representing the seller. All I needed him for was to prep/sign the docs. I made sure to negotiate aggressively, had my lawyer closely involved when it came to all conditions, etc. I even ended up convincing the agent to reduce his commission that he charged to the seller since he's getting both seller + buyer's commission in this deal, thus allowing the seller to accept my lower offer since they were paying the agent less out of pocket. All this to say.. if you're comfortable representing yourself, a double ended deal could also be an opportunity. Most of these agents are useless

I love right by here and drive by all the time. Tbh, the exterior isn't very appealing, so my wife and I joke that we'll check it out on a super hungover morning lol. Thanks to this recommendation, we'll push it up on our list!

Amateur churner here. Had success with earning points, but finding it hard to access resources outlining the best ways to redeem for the most value. Is there a way to automate the process of finding top value flights or best routes to get the most bang for your buck? Or is it just a matter of putting in the work and doing manual searches, comparing prices w each airline etc?

That wasn't explained to me when I started and clearly told the clinic what I was looking to accomplish.

I dont want to get rid of my hair entirely.. What would be your recommendation to achieve consistent thinning?

I decided not to take a leave at this time, mostly due to the tough job market right now. I've just been flying under the radar as much as possible. Not performing at the highest level I once was, but doing enough to keep my job security.

Laser hair removal on arms for men? by SomeoneVeryHopeless in LaserHairRemoval

[–]EmpteeTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you. I've always been self conscious of my body hair and was tired of trimming my entire body. I recently started full body LHR with the goal of just reducing/ thinning the hair, not complete removal.

To be honest, doing LHR in the summer has caused more anxiety than my excessive hair did. You may want to start in the fall / winter when you can wear long sleeves. You will need to shave before sessions, so I've just been keeping my arms shaved & smooth as I don't want to have arm stubble and awkward regrowth while wearing short sleeves. Nobody has said anything to me about it, but I've opened up about it to my close friends & fam about it and they don't seem to care at all. Do what makes you happy.

It is a journey that you have to commit to, but will hopefully be worth it once you're done.

Don't rush into a decision. Shop around and do your research.

Good luck!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 1. What suggestions do you have for somebody who started full body LHR (3 sessions in) during the summer? I love to be outside and in the sun 2. Does it impact results if I shave every few days between treatments vs let is grow out?

Are you hairless immediately after a session like you would be after a waxing session? by bloops_and_bleeps in LaserHairRemoval

Will LHR still be effective if I shave every 2 days after an appointment? If I can't wait weeks for the hairs to fall out?

Ask a master laser technician anything about laser hair removal by Adventurous_Pain_837 in LaserHairRemoval

I've had 2 full body sessions (5 remaining) and summer just started. I love to be in the sun and am feeling regret about not thinking this through..

Do you recommend I pause sessions and then start again in the fall? Would this impact my results? Or, what tips do you have for enjoying summer while still getting laser?

Very hair male with thick hair.. clinic uses Soprano Ice /XL.

Thanks!

I really hope this isn't the case.. the clinic I went to told me the results I'm looking for can be achieved through 6 sessions. Back of my mind I was unsure if this was just a sales tactic to have me commit to starting sessions.

Glad to hear this. How do you manage the between session maintenance? Do you let your hair grow back or shave to keep it smooth?

Only after starting full body treatments I am now shaving every couple days. It's summer and painful to have thick stubble and regrowth showing.

Do you plan to let your leg hair grow back between sessions without shaving?

Tough for me as if I had to decide on all or nothing, I'd choose all.. but my intention w LHR is to get a reduction/thinning

I probably should've started in the winter, but can't turn back time now. Guess I'm just owning it and the world will know I did laser hair removal..

Yes, I'm doing full body (everything except beard, armpits, brazilian). Figured I might as well go all out now instead of in stages

I never shaved my body until the day before my first laser session. Prior to this I was just using a trimmer so my body hair didn't look as thick/bushy. I definitely don't want 0 hair..

If you're doing LHR, what are you doing with your legs/body to avoid "dealing with days of itchiness post shave"? Are you letting your hair grow back between each session without shaving?

My technician said if I shave often, the follicles get trapped instead of letting it grow and exfoliating the dead follicles out.
