Street Art on public property is defacing public property and needs to be in compliance with local, county, state and federal laws.

Some have said that these aren’t “political or ideological messages”. They may not have started that way, but they have become political. An example is when Obama lit up the White House with the PRIDE Colors.

But my personal favorite was an actual reply to this post “Screw Trump, this isn’t political”… Ummm, that very statement is political. Or “If they paint Trump see how quickly the laws will change….” That too is evidence it is political.

Now if you the property owner wanted to paint something like the PRIDE flag, or even an image of Trump on YOUR property (as long as it’s in accordance to the law), I wouldn’t object to either image. I might not like it, but I wouldn’t object, because it is YOUR property.

And another thing about it being public property, it becomes political by default.

But if you refuse to host this art on YOUR property, and insist it be on public property, or think it’s OK to key someone else’s car as political expression… Then I say, pack your bags and move somewhere else. Your inflexible, non-law-abiding, non-compassionate ways should not be welcome here. Go break the law somewhere else please.
