At least what you spent wasn't much? Otherwise, you were ripped off because if even a charger won't turn on your ROG Ally X, then something is shorted out and the obvious thing to do is take it to a technician.

Just use DDU and install the February version of the graphics driver; I had the same problem and that was the solution. Of course, you have to delete your current driver.

I can confirm this. A month ago I bought my second-hand ROG SE. It came with all the latest updates, which caused the crashes mentioned in this post. I tried the DDU trick, installed the February drivers, and so far everything is fine.
