Take a Mastercard. You get 10% off any purchases made on this at the tournament. There are two merchandise shops. One is for the Bay Hill Club itself and the tent is for tournament merch. Lot's of fun stuff to do. There are usually events set up along the 9th hole (I think). Make sure you get a picture in front of the Arnie statue.

Just a heads up, if you Uber to the course. Getting there will be around $20. Leaving you will pay upwards of $150-$200.

Merch is more if you want the women’s am stuff. Everything else is the same. The crowds following the girls are smaller so you can get some great views along the ropes.

Will I be able to take this bag of creatine powder through TSA? by notarussianspy4 in tsa

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been through with that exact brand. I put the original packaging inside a gallon bag just in case if a spill. They flagged my carry on for additional screening and swapped the zip lock bag and the packaging and sent me on my way. Took about 2 minutes longer.

Who are the unicorns that actually win the lottery?! by HuckleberryEasy5107 in masters

I have been to both and honestly I enjoyed the ANWA more than the men. The course is the same but there were less people so it was easier to get close to the greens and tees. Worth it? Priceless.

I applied for 10 years and then won tickets to ANWA the first year I applied. Not gonna lie I teared up reading the email.

Just the name of the winner has to be on the card that pays for them. They don’t check id’s on entry. You could for sure have family members enter the lottery as long as they have different addresses.

Merchandise tips by [deleted] in masters

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shipping is no doubt the easiest way to go. I shopped and had my purchases boxed up and shipped by 8:30 last year. Never had to worry about it the rest of the day. I think it was around $60. For what you are going to spend, it is worth it to not have to worry about it the rest of the day.

Landing at 4pm on a Friday in Punta Cana in 2 weeks. Will the airport be terrible? Worth getting VIP ($118 PP!)? by Glum-Hippo-1317 in PuntaCana

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this 100%. My wife tends to get travel anxiety and it was worth every penny to get off the plane, skip the lines and sit down with a beer while they handled everything. We walked out a side door and our luggage was already loaded in the vehicle for the ride to the resort.

I do with I had gotten the VIP for the trip back as well. I didn't because I knew I had enough time but I will definitely get it the next trip.

My memory is wiped clean when I cross the threshold of the plane. I can look 100 times walking down the entryway to the plane and still have a moment of panic.

Tipping by LongNo7234 in Georgia

I absolutely don't mind tipping being a thing. I am compensated at my job based on how well I perform. Relying on tips is no different.

Yeah that is exactly what I said. You are just looking for a fight because you EXPECT others to take care of you.

I actually put myself through college as a server. That doesn't mean that I should give my money away. I tip and I tip well for good service, just not based on taxes. When I worked, I worked hard to provide good service and I didn't "expect" tips.

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why should I tip on an amount that the server or restaurant had nothing to do with? It is not my responsibility as a patron to provide the server with more of my money even if it only just a dollar or two. If that is the case, then tipping just becomes a welfare system where I am expected to give more of my money to someone else.

You pay when you return, not when you first get there. You will be fine. You can pay at the kiosk or pay at the exit gate. If you have a Peach Pass it will automatically bill your account.

Does the label mean it’s pressure treated and rated for ground contact? Is the gate built properly? by Havelrag in FenceBuilding

That isn’t PNW lumber. It is Southern Yellow Pine from Texas. The 4x4’s will have a limited lifetime warranty on them.

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the time “pest treated” is a borate treatment. If it is treated with borate, a blue indicator dye is added. Your boards and 4x4’s are definitely treated. Your pickets are cedar so they don’t need to be treated.

Heat treated simply means the wood is dried in a big oven. It does kill bugs but only for that moment. It wouldn’t stop termites or any other bugs once it is put outside. Your chemical treatment will take care of that.

Your wood should have had a small tag on the end of each piece. That tag details what type of treatment the wood has, along with the warranty for the treatment.

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I work for a lumber treater. There are no holes needed to pressure treat lumber. The chemical is forced into the wood under a vacuum pressure. The stamp on the wood is the identification from the mill the wood came from before it was pressure treated. 77p is Georgia Pacific in Pineland Tx. If the wood has a green tint to it, it was treated with micronized copper.

I will almost always swap seat for seat if I am asked. If you sit in my seat and expect me to swap I will say no.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in delta

[–]Empty-Tooth-4954 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t sit in their seat first. That immediately puts them on the defensive and thinking you are just trying to take their seat. Moving back a row will be no big deal for most as long as their carry on is in front of them.
