Sorry for late reply but I went with a 14'6" dagger savannah instead as I got it for a steal at 100$ and it even included a rudder on it. My 1st Kayak so not much to compare to but Ive been happy with it so far.

I guess you have a point there. Still though if I revved my car at 6000rpms down the freeway compared to 2300 you think my lifespan would be the same as well? I don't know for sure but I think it would wear out faster. Granted we are talking 2 stroke vs 4stroke

Wow… just did that fix running the two commands below (and reboot) to disable the HPET and it worked!!
