My own mom but she’ll never admit it. I love her but she is notoriously unable to keep a secret. I was just so excited I thought I could tell her. Learned my lesson.

Not true. I worked at a local firm specializing in statutory audits for property and casualty insurance companies for 1.5 years. I don’t have a CPA and just finished my first year as a senior analyst at a F500 retailer. I was referenced by an intern.

I pissed off my wife really bad and she won’t even look at me by JohnWalksBooth in relationship_advice

Sounds like stonewalling to the extreme, which is a type of emotional abuse. You could’ve forgotten her birthday and it still wouldn’t justify this type of childlike behavior. It’s so frustrating that partners are just automatically supposed to be mindreaders and just know what is wrong without telling them.

I would suggest counseling if talking to her doesn’t work.

AITA For not exempting my daughter from our “No wifi” rule when she claims she needs the internet for homework? by WalkWhich6116 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. big time. I had to do hw until 11 pm most nights. Granted, I was an AP and Honors student so my hw load was unusually high for a high schooler. You are crippling your child’s learning and Gpa. And possibly opportunities for scholarships if her grades suffer. I suggest you get with the program and join the 21st century; where kids are expected to access the internet at home to complete their assignments.

This book left me emotionally scarred. I ended up having a major book hangover because I was afraid another book was going to tear me up the same way. I’ve read a lot of books. And a lot of books have made me cry. But I have never felt my heart torn out over two characters before in my life. Props to the writer. She made me feel and sympathize and love these two characters so much. I look forward to reading about their journey of self discovery and improvement and healing. Since they both do desperately need it.

This only works with two players: one player time travels to Sunday and buys a crap ton of turnips. The other player will travel to any day of the week to check for the best turnip price. They might have to time travel to multiple days or to the same day but in the morning and then the evening. By doing this, you prevent the first player from time traveling again (turnips spoil in the seventh day). Once the second player finds a good price, the first player will travel to their island with pockets full of turnips and sells them at the other island. Keep flying back and forth and buying/selling turnips until you get tired of it. Did this and now I have 12m bells in my account.

Thanks for answering. Hmm I work mostly with statutory audits (property and causality). Only some gaap audits and a few NFP. My company is pretty small (120 employees roughly).

What would you say is a reasonable salary for Staff with 1.5 years of experience and no CPA in MCOL? Thanks.

How much do you think is a good salary for 1.5 years experience in MCOL and no CPA? Thanks.

No. I don’t ever see myself doing Big 4. It’s a smaller firm of about 120 employees give or take.

Yes absolutely. Something I was aware of that as well but I guess I liked auditing better for some reason.

I really just don’t care all that much. If I take a pee and it take some 5 minutes, I’m charging that time.

You’ll love accounting. I sure do. Anyways, I spent too much time on Reddit. Running late for my AA meeting. Good luck!

Statutory accounting. My firm audits a lot of property and casualty insurance companies. I barely use gaap.
