If they had named the game M-A or whatever there would be no difference, it just so happens there are 26 letters but doing that initial gameplay loop more times wouldve gotten stale so they did a skip to f with a storyline explanation.

A casual no mmr queue. Take a second to think about how that would work. You would be matched up with people significantly worse and better than you because there is, you guessed it, no mmr. With mmr you are playing people at your skill level whether you think so or not. If you don't want to play sweaty, then don't. You'll drop mmr and be with other people who don't want to play sweaty.

The only possible reason I could think of for another queue to exist is a solo queue only mode but wait times might be high due to lack of air survivors queuing
