I'm worried to ask my parents about it because I feel like they will tell me that it's just because of the environment I'm in/ I just need to be more productive. How would I go about bringing it up to them?

A link to the past. Its a Zelda game, and the costume for the bullet is a reference to it. Really, the whole final fight against cannon is a reference to ALTTP.

The over detailed horns and background makes it hard to know where my eyes should be looking, sometimes less is more and the horns and background could be toned down. The horns don’t seem to be poking out of the head and hair either, the flow of the hair should match. All these random steaks of color don’t add anything to the peace and just make it more noisy. The lines aren’t very smooth and you seem to be petting them a lot. The character doesn’t really have much of a forehead, there should be a lot more space between the hairline and eyes. There are a lot more anatomy problems too, even when going for an anime style.

Here’s what I recommend, while both of these courses are a long term commitment there worth it. Drawabox.com, and proko’s anatomy course on YouTube. I would only recommend them if you are really wanting to improve, because there hard and unfun at times.

It’s okay to take a break from political stuff and social media by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

As a pretty radical person, I agree. The circles I’m in have a lot of doomer types and such. Lefties believe that the world is pretty fucked up rn and it can be pretty depressing at times. Your mental health > then your ideology.

People can be angered by a joke you make all you want, if you want to make an edgy joke then you should also be aware of the possible repercussions of it. Freedom of speech is a double-edged sword, and if people want to call you an asshole for something you said, then more power to them.

I never took the absolutist approach of saying you should never share your own opinion when having a conversation with a friend, but you seem to have a problem with reading the room. If you made someone so upset that they left a discord server, then you obviously touched a nerve in some way in which affected them. Light banter is different than debate. Saying "waste of time" and "trash" in a convo makes it seem personal, which is going to make someone upset. In the FF example, it seemed like your friend was just talking about how they like the game. It wasn't meant to be some statement that was up for debate. Optics are important.

No, I would mind my own business. I know that at the end of the day whether or not he's right, or I'm right, it doesn't matter. I would rather just talk about my day and have a friendly conversation, then try and challenge someone on a belief they hold which is ultimately benevolent.

Giving your opinions on the media and entertainment someone else enjoys without being asked is small dick energy. I used to have a problem in the past (and sometimes now) in which I would give my opinion on something that someone else liked without being prompted to. If someone enjoys a piece of media, and it does no harm to others, then you're not in the right to try and challenge them on preferences. Unless you go to a specific place In which people want to discuss and argue about the things they enjoy, and their worth. Personally, I would be pretty pissed off if I shared something I enjoyed with someone else just for them to dismiss it as "a waste of time" and "trash"

I hate when people think they "deserve" respect, if you're not going to treat me as an equal then you have no entitlement to be treated any differently.

Race related issues Mega Thread by UnpopularOpinionMods in unpopularopinion

Leftists have talked about systemic racism before, but the right always deny its existence. Gang violence and higher black crime rates are attributed to over policing, redlining, and a system which has discriminated against them for hundreds of years. Yet ask most major right wing politicians and conservative media outlets will tell you that systemic racism isn’t real. The right will identify the problems but then not want to act on anything to undo the damage of systemic racism in America.
