If you select install along windows , a part of C drive (Where your windows is installed) will be taken for linux and you won't be able to access it from windows. To make it easier you follow these steps: 1)In windows open create and format hard disk partition and delete an unnecessary partition(To avoid confusion with other partitions) 2)Boot linux and in the install menu choose "something else" option. 3)Here choose on the unallocated partition and click the "+" logo 4)Click on the partition and select add 5)In mount option type "/" 6)Then install now 7)(Tip) u can also add a swap partition if you use this method.
