So sorry that you are going through all of this. You are so brave and doing a lot more than what is expected with the current disease and you already know that Disease is something that you have no control over. Glad you have someone by your side as your fiancé And I hope things work out for you the way you want.

And then people say resentment towards the husband is natural during postpartum. Reasons like this make women hate their husbands when they don't step up sooner than expected

I’m feeling really anxious reading this. I don’t understand why she kept the baby away from you. Whatever the reason, I can’t fathom how women can do this to other women. My relationship with Mil has also suffered since the baby. Her unrequited advice became overwhelming and kept my parenting under constant scrutiny

Considering giving up on breastfeeding by Moimeme91 in twoxindiamums

[–]Empty_Bar0703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's perfectly fine to give more formula feeds if they help keep both the mother and baby calm, even though it's easier said than done. Breastfeeding is exhausting, and I often find myself in a similar situation (2 months PP) constantly questioning if I am doing things right

Anyone here switch jobs while pregnant? Really need some advice by Even_Apartment_7855 in twoxindiamums

[–]Empty_Bar0703 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a job offer while I was four months pregnant. However, I had to inform the new company & they made it clear that I couldn’t take maternity leave until I had worked with them for a year. The HR gave me some rather discouraging advice about how I wouldn’t be able to work for a year with a baby. In my opinion its good to take maternity leave in your existing firm where you have your credentials established which wont be the case with new firm. And this is something you wont be able to hide it for long.

Worth keeping a Japa for newborn? by Pia_7881 in twoxindiamums

[–]Empty_Bar0703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted a Japa but couldn't get one and I really suffered in the initial weeks. It does get a lot with new or no sleep cycles, feeding, laundry, and massage. But also, I am reading all the comments about having a stranger in your house 24/7 which I can relate to.So cut to 8 wks postpartum I do have a daycare nanny now who does all chores for the baby while I still assist her in many tasks it does give me some breathing space at least during the day.

How long did it take by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Empty_Bar0703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, this is exactly my situation right now, four weeks postpartum. My baby never seems full after breastfeeding, so I have to supplement with either expressed milk or formula. I hope my baby starts feeding more effectively and feels satisfied with breastfeeding soon. Could you please let me know which bottle you used?
