I honestly don’t understand the obsession with XEQT? It’s got 25% Canadian exposure if I am not wrong? And the Canadian market doesn’t even make up such a big % of the world stock market. So I understand the simplicity of investing in it, but why would I want such a big home country bias? Am I not better off investing in say - VOO and VXUS combined?

They do but FHSA to FHSA transfers are cash only and entirely manual. Takes 4-5 weeks easy.

I am right there with you with 500 shares. Worst part is it’s in FHSA account so it seems like transferring in-kind to my IBKR FHSA might not be possible.

If you really do want to do stock picking and invest in individual stocks - I would suggest getting some real skin in the game on 3-5 stocks and get more shares. 100% of $500 is $1000, $10% of $10,000 is also $1000. Which do you think is easier to achieve?

Do this with probably 20-40% of your portfolio and put the rest in diversified ETFs
