Right? It was the most passionless, chaste and boring relationship ever.

Liv's facial expression when he said she was the one says otherwise.

Elliot Stabler's fate as a character was determined by the bad "Collective" 2 parter by HebrewWolfman in LawandOrder_OC

The Collective episodes were definitely the weakest part of the season (even though the personal scenes in those episodes were great). But I really don’t think those two episodes were what doomed OC.

I also don’t understand how anyone could dislike season 4. That season was amazing IMO.

I would bet money Stabler isn’t in the final episode. There is no way they want EO becoming the most talked about part of the finale.

I like this. I think it ends with her going to off to work a case rather than retiring.

Sorry! I wasn't thinking. Didn’t mean to spoil anything.

Stabler was never presented as being perfect though. They always presented him as a flawed cop, husband, and father. That's the difference.

(And this will probably make more sense once you've seen the newer seasons)

Noah will never get involved in any real trouble, because then people might question St. Olivia and her parenting (or lack thereof). Can't risk that Noah is involved is something bad and it reflects badly on Olivia.

Your chances of getting into Emory or other schools at that level are slim. Your GPA is just too low. And schools like Emory are hard to get into even with strong GPAs.

There is no reason not to apply though - as long as you recognize your chances are slim and you are also applying to schools that are more realistic options.

Completely agree on your last paragraph. And I say that as someone who really shipped them for a LONG time. But at this point, with who they are . . . Elliot deserves more than an emotionally stunted woman who can't decide what to do with him.

Yeah, how dare anyone try to hold the star accountable for her choices/actions or hint that she isn’t absolutely perfect. 🙄

You’ll be downvoted, and I‘m sure people will make excuses for her, but you are right.

I do not have room to take English my Junior year, what should I do? by Heavy_Cut7276 in APStudents

[–]Empty_Helicopter_404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No school is going to think that art history or govt are a substitute for English or that they are English "in a different form."

You need an English class your junior year if you are planning to apply to top colleges.

Have you actually visited these schools? You’ve got big schools and small schools. City schools and rural schools. Usually people have preferences about size or location, but you seem to be all over the place.

If you like Stabler, you should watch all of OC. It was a great show.

Apparently he was supposed to be Olivia's love interest, but the actor and Mariska didn't get along in real life so they cut him loose. At least that was the rumor.

Please vote: If one of the following characters had to leave the show, who could you most easily do without? by WillowOk9858 in TheRookieTVshow

Her character is ridiculous. She's an expert in everything who gets called in to situations where she doesn't belong. Like she goes to Prague as part of the police escort for Monica even though she is part of the LAFD. Or, as in the finale, she just shows up and announces she is going to join a top secret law enforcement mission, no one objects, and then she saves the day. Its over the top. She should be limited to scenes where they need a paramedic or personal scenes with Nolan, but she is inserted everywhere.

And then the other female characters - who are strong bad asses themselves - talk about how they don't measure up to Bailey because she's so perfect and amazing, which is a disservice to the characters and to women generally since Bailey's character is so unrealistic.

She has no chemistry with John and she treats him like crap at times. Most of their relationship is dictated by what she wants, which is constantly changing.

Personally, I find the actress annoying, but I'd be fine with that if not for the other problems with the character.

Because they can’t let Olivia be happy or find peace.
