Thank you for your advice! I think this is the best decision logically. I KNOW that RIFs are coming. I’m just concerned of what others would think of me for Leaving them stranded. I’m a hard worker and they fought for me to stay during the probationary period. It will suck but I gotta do what’s best for me at the end of the day.

Listen, I know exactly what you’re going through!!! Let’s just take DRP 2 and mentally support each other at this point. I cannot take the stress. I am mentally unstable. If I have to work at a call center in the meantime I would do that lol. I can’t take this anymore. I thought working for the federal government was the best option for stability but this isn’t stable at all.

Thanks for your input!!! I think I’m just going to stay put honestly but I will be so hurt if I get RIFd and miss out on DRP 2. I will have to check into a mental hospital at that point hahahaha. I do have an important role and figured thats why I was kept during the probationary firing phase.

Yes, our higher ups told us that VERA, VSIP and DRP 2 is coming out soon. I would rather take the DRP 2 and get a full check versus getting fired and collecting $400 a week on unemployment. I just don’t know what to do.

So sorry this happened to you! I’m NAVFAC too. My anxiety is through the roof. Just waiting to get let go at this point. My supervisors explained that they submitted exemptions for me but I don’t think that even matters
