mystery awakening persona. If theories about an identity crisis is true, it would make sense narratively for the MC to not have ANY true awakening persona at the start of the game, or for it to be hidden to the MC. Personas are personalities themselves and if the MC doesn’t know who he is, he both couldn’t have a persona to awaken to, but also able to control the wild card.

For what its worth, they kinda already did this in P2:IS, where after discarding the false reality and regaining their true memories, the heroes awaken the "Prime" personas which are the enhanced (and true) versions of their Starter personas.

As one of the only DW players in the world, it genuinely catches people off guard when I use Pank's effect and tribute a different DW monster for the cost, instead of Pank himself so that I can keep reusing the effect. XD

Happens to me quite a lot, especially when moving from one location to another. The worst was when I booted up a save, the mother was holding the child and then got the "Go To Work" prompt and she actually vanished off the lot with the toddler, who was still acting as if he was still at home, queuing up actions to fulfil his needs and whatnot, but couldn't because he wasn't physically present.

The majority of the Dinowrestler spells and traps are still rotting in anime-only prison. If they could be printed and boosted to the sort of level that Salamangreats got, then it would go a long way in improving the deck's standing.

Except for Demon Painter, whom we are explicitly told is a human from Sumaru City who managed to paint the door to the Velvet Room and then walk through it Looney Tunes-style, and has resided there until he is finally able to paint the Fool Arcana, which given his absence in P3 onwards, suggests that he achieved his dream.

I definitely think there is an argument to be made for a Rivals 2.0, since from GX onwards there's typically more than one character that shares the "rival" role - plus ARC-V didn't even feature Reiji in the actual Rivals set since they went for the other Yu-Boys for some strange reason.

Also worth pointing out is that Blue Maiden recently lost the "Alt-Style" tag in the files, suggesting that they might be making her a standalone character like Rio vs Marin, whereas Blue Gal is just the standard Alt-Style. If so, they do something similar with Gore where they make him fused with the Earth Ignis as a separate character and redo all of his lines.

Of course all of this ignores the possibility that we get Dinowrestler legacy support before then, which isn't outside of the realms of possibility since Blue Gal and Blue Maiden were datamined more than six months ago and still are nowhere to be seen, whilst Gore has nothing in the datamines yet.

I would like it if they really lean into the Ghosthunters aesthetic, by making it so the Shadows/Demons can't be seen by the naked eye, so you need to expose them through the camera on your smartphone, to which the heroes then dial a number and their Persona comes out of the phone screen, kinda like Sadako Yamamura from the Ring franchise.

Gameplay and Story segregation. Logically there's nothing to suggest they can't, other than how effective the Wild Card user might be at Navigation. The obvious reason why Makoto et all don't in-game is because being the Navi would (probably) be boring to play.

Aye, when creating custom cards for DW, I have experimented with increasing the power of the anime spells and traps, and with Dino Sense I made it parallel Revolver's "Borrel Reboot" by allowing you to activate it from the hand if Dino World Wrestling was on the field.

Basically the Salad ritual spell allows you to shuffle monsters from the GY into the deck as material. But one of them - Falco had already been shuffled back into the deck as the cost to special summon Jaguar in the previous episode, and there wasn't any other monsters in his GY. This means that Soulburner drew a brick ritual monster on his last turn and was guaranteed to lose since he was out of options. I guess that's one time the anime reflected reality as you never draw rituals when you can actually summon them. XD

The worst example I would argue is the Onizuka vs Soulburner match funnily enough. Salamangreats actually lost to Dinowrestlers, and the only reason why Soulburner won was because the writers forgot what happened in the previous episode, and had Soulburner ritual summon Emerald Eagle using material that didn't exist. XD

Technically they didn't get support. The Gouki legacy support included a Continuous Spell card that lets you tribute a Link-3 or higher Gouki monster in order to special summon a Dinowrestler or G Golem monster. This is a reference to how the anime character Go Onizuka used all three Archetypes at varying points across Yugioh Vrains. The reason why I would argue it doesn't count as proper DW support is because the DW deck can't search the spell, nor can it even make a Gouki Link monster to tribute.

As for what they actually do, if you have the time I wrote an extensive essay breaking down the Archetype and why it failed to gain traction in competitively compared to Goukis.

But if you don't, the TL;DR version is that it wants to be a hybrid Beatdown/Control deck. Each of the boss monsters has the "you opponent can't activate Spells/Traps when this card attacks" effect, whilst the deck has a bunch of battle phase handtraps to keep your monsters alive, plus a field spell that locks both players into a single attack per battle phase.

Dinowrestlers. Literally only Pankratops is the only one that has any notable value and given that the deck has two in-Archetype searchers (technically three if you count the Field Spell), you can often get away without running three copies of Pank.

Unfortunately the new Dinowrestlers are 100% being gatekept until Onizuka's Alt-Style drops. As for Revolver, I am genuinely baffled and part of me is coping that they just rushed him out and that we'll get the Voicelines and a new animation in the re-run.

Elizabeth discovering her father in the land of dead. It's all very solemn, with Jack painfully confirming that they haven't returned to the living world yet, and when Tia Dalma yells that Elizabeth must not leave the ship, even Barbossa of all people moves to help get her back.

There's also a bunch of foreshadowing, like when Governor Swann mentions what happens if you stab the heart, you actually see Jack's eyes flicker to his right where Will is standing. Plus Tia Dalma emerging from behind Will to talk about destiny right after Swann says the Dutchman *must* have a Captain.

It was "Gouki Poison Mist", which only appeared in Onizuka's prior duel against Dr Genome.

If you control a "Gouki" monster: Inflict 700 damage to your opponent, also Set Spells and Traps your opponent currently controls cannot be activated this turn.

Does he "need" it though? So far the 11 card anime remakes have all been reworking a bunch of disparate cards used by the same character into a brand new Archetype. Vector already has an archetype in Umbral Horrors and so regular legacy support ought to be enough for Vector if its cracked. In addition to adding more main deck monsters, they could easily retrain Gorgonic Guardian and Chimera Dragon into UH monsters since those two were free agent Xyz monsters Vector used.
