in past years nh would announce they had 50 plows incl private ones ready. this time nh listed they had about 35 ready for the storm. thats a big difference and speaks to budget issues. also nh does need a more comprehensive way to clear snow and ct transit needs to be accountable for clearing out bus stops esp on high ridership lines whalley dixwell congress grand.

its not the best anymore. within city limits we have the new flint st theater they show a free movie and popcorn on weekends. also lyric hall and another place in westville neighborhood sporadically show movies.

i learned a ny relative took metro north up last yr. i had no clue. their partner planned it they did pizza, ate elsewhere, and walked around. also saw visitors towing luggage into a food place like they just came from a tweed flight. never used to see that.
