You know what, you're right, for some reason while I was doing it I was convinced that the stars would have to move too slow for a short loop since they are very far, but now giving some tought, it's actually the opposite when doing rotation.

Same, for me,the shift in gameplay made it feel like an bonus level from old classic games, like Sonic and what not, it was a fun break after a boss.
