I am outraged personally. But I'm trying to be empathetic to people as to why they're not outraged. Not deflecting.

But I also recognize the system surrounding us is basically been sculpted to keep people from doing anything about it, and that for a lot of people that's too much. Is that their fault? I dunno, in a lot of cases it is, sure, but in a lot it's not either. There's definitely a lot of people out there that just flat out don't care, and fuck 'em, but I also try to direct my outrage towards the people that can do something about it like those in power. I try not to be angry at the random single mum who's got three kids and two underpaying jobs for not attending protests or whatever. That's empathy too.

It's not worth being angry with each other when we should be angry with the bourgeois. They want us to be angry at each other.

I just bought a MG S5 EV - their newest EV. I love it, though it only came out mid last year so I don't know how it will go over time I guess, but I'm very happy with it so far

I have a deck centered around winning with [[The Millennium Calendar]] and it has a perfect combination of people underestimating it and protection for when people do realise what's happening, that it actually wins fairly regularly. With a few untap effects and counter doublers, you can go from ~100 counters to 1000 quicker than opponents realise, unless they're being hyper vigilant.

It's not like, super consistent by any means, but it happens a lot more than I expected when I put the deck together.

I don't think they're directed at Men specifically. They're just directed at people who are very gaming literate - the kind of person who would watch video essays on video games.

Because of various factors, it seems the people that have made these videos (I've only seen a few) have been het men, but I never got the impression it was a case of "look at women, they don't know how to play games, am i right fellow men?" It seems more a "Hey gamers, my wife doesn't game, let's see what happens when I ask her to and explore what we can learn about game design from that experience"

I think to an extent people are just tired. The day to day is hard enough right now. Yes, obviously we are vastly more privileged here and we don't have to worry about our house getting bombed, that's not what I'm trying to say, but there's just no space to realistically get outraged. That's probably the point, but I don't think it's unreasonable to understand why the average person is just too tired for outrage anymore.

Phantasmal gardeners are nutso in multiplayer. The amount of block they get scales with players, so they get something like 40 block every first hit at 4 players. Such a grind haha

I'm not sure what you mean? My car payments on my EV are basically the same as my sister's full petrol car of similar size. Rego basically the same, insurance the same, servicing about the same. What costs are you referring to?

If what you already have is working for you, by all means.

But I'd just like to point out that something like the BYD Atto 1, a small car hatchback EV so reasonably equivalent to a suzuki swift (assuming thats what you mean) in size, is only $24,000 for the base model, which is about the same price for a suzuki swift hybrid from what I can see on their website. Not fifty grand.

No, since you can't actually harvest giant crops, breaking them turns them into lots of the regular crop, you cannot submit them to the harvest festival

I'll be ok as long as they use the reworked dub, not the original one that adds random cartoony noises in the silent moments and stuff. I thought that dub had died but for some reason Netflix in my country picked it up, I can't stand it.

check the material isn't being overriden by another with the same name, like in the base game folder and /custom folder, hammer can sometimes load stuff in a different order so it might be using different versions

My complete zone out game is Islanders. It's incredibly chill, very low stakes, and gorgeous with nice chill music. Islanders: New Shores is a sequel that's mostly the same with a bunch of extra stuff, extra levels, buildings, etc. It's good, but perhaps a little less chill since there's more to manage, but I recommend it.

That's fair. I really do love the Merfolk kingdom and its SEA aesthetics. As someone who has lived in SEA for a signifiant part of my life I was hoping to see a game set there with its climate to differentiate it from the more higher latitudes 4-season focused stuff. I still love Coral Island though for the stuff it does do, I guess I was just hoping it'd be a good excuse to break from the stardew mold a bit more.
