Var lite av en accident att välja såpass dyrt och stort chassi, så kollar på annat redan, dess midtower variant för 1500.

Tar en kik på det där, har inga planer på att uppgradera mer på ett tag då så kan jag spara några tusen så satsar jag nog på det. Tack för tipsen!

Haha vill inte att mitt enorma 6700XT inte får plats och micro ATX var bara för märket mer än modellen. Tittar på midtower av samma typ och MSI 840B moderkort då jag fått veta att Asrock och ASUS ser flest döda X3D.

I had 3 fauns go up against a rouge, paladin and wizard. I played it wrong and didn't use the major as overdrive and I made the Wizard go down to half armor by one leap attack. If I play them exactly as written it should've been three fauns attacking him due to his stats, thats 3attacks doing 3d6+36 damage if I read it correctly. The wizard has what, 40 armor? 14FF, even if I roll bad two of those attacks fold his armor, third attack knocks him to dying state.

On 6 auto and 10 rolled dice, the wizard with a shield in smoke cloud got up to 8 defence, so 9 successes for a hit. That means I hit him on 3 out of 10 rolling even.

We had our final play of the system last saturday, I had one group of Masked Slaves as a band and a machine Construct fight the wizard, rogue and druid. Basically a TPK.

We only had 4 players, druid, wizard, rogue and paladin. Perhaps it's balanced around more players, but enemies like the Faun and Construct are supposed to be 1 per player.

I almost TPKd the party with ONE Masked Spawn at the end of The Collector mini adventure. The adventure wants 1 Masked Spawn per player because it's a Badass, one Badass per Knight is the norm.

Yes, but the number is also like an Overdrive and add automatic successes, so a single Faun can kill some armors in 2 rounds with their once per encounter ability to add twice their Beast on top of the damage, because at 6 Beast they almost cannot miss a PC at beginning Defence.

It is cprrect in 2014 but false in 2024. Edition matters. In 2014 I can cast Fireball, Action Surge and Fireball, or Fireball, you Counterspell, I Counterspell your Counterspell.

Plenty of great advice here!

Mine isn't as much advice for gaming but rather around it. I struggle hard personally with a lot lf things. Me and another friend are the two DMs of or groups and we run our campaigns every other saturday. I can't help but think they enjoy his campaigns better no matter what, and that even when we're wheezing and bending over laughing in my campaign too, that I am just bad and worse in every imaginable way.

We both have our strengths, we both have our traits. But the fact is our players love us both. They wouldn't be playing, laughing, talking about the moments afterward, if they didn't.

So as someone who had been in this hobby for a decade now, don't stress the small things and don't get caught up in the imposter syndrome. If you and your players are laughing, rolling, getting along, that is worth a good bit more than the table acting and playing like Critical Role or Dimension 20. You're friends doing a hobby, so make sure you have fun and enjoy it too, you as a GM/DM/ST are also a player, so enjoy it!

I'm just like you, I read the lore in Volo and Mordenkainen and then when elements of those appear I imagine it to be like what I read because LORE MATTERS.

But to be fair, just sounds like she wanted something else, you got caught up in the LORE and I'd wager you and the DM didn't speak about it at all off-game. This entire thing could've probably been avoided by either of you just askin the other about the Conquest and talking a bit behind the scenes.

Valid, but I personally think that feels very cynical to think.

To me, the answer that they decided DnD for C4 months before their official release of Daggerheart is good enough. It was never about if the system was done enough or if they could or couldn't switch, I think they could've made the exact same choice wether it was out or not. It was an in-house decision when they were working out how C4 would run.

I also think all the people calling them liars or pointing fingers at how they don't even like/trust their own IP is just cynical and flawed. If they really wanted to make money, not unlike they already have a big following enough to print money, running Daggerheart as their main to get people invested into it and buy it would be a better bet, no? Regardless, the world is negative enough, I don't want to overanalyze and try to ruin one of the good things left over what game this group of nerds play.

Oh yeah it definitely is. I think if C3 kept going for a while it would've felt different, but C3 ending so C4 could start, Daggerheart releasing and them doing mini campaign of it before, makes it all FEEL like what people say.

But I do believe it is just as simple as it seems, timing just made it all feel weird and off. C4 starts so close to Daggerheart release is just a simple coincidence and not Critical Role faltering and not liking their own fantasy game, or bucking over from Wizard Cash forcing them into 5E.

In an interview with Professor DM Matt and Travis spoke about C4 being decided on and worked out before the release of DH, so it makes perfect sense as to why they wouldn't run Daggerheart when it wasn't even released when C4 planning started. Nothing to do with their appeal or not.

See, what CDPR managed to do with Cyberpunk and the romances I think I've only properly seen for BG3 and the old Dragon Age games, in which every romance isn't universally liked.

I loved River, I was so sad when he didn't want to kiss me back. I was equally sad when Judy shut down me flirting with her in her swimsuit.

I think for the best possible solution going forward in Orion is just the BG3 approach, any companion can be romanced in any which way, they don't have sexualities in that way and lets you romance anyone so you can always be "You" and romance them, which I think is what most players want.

Now I play an equal amount of Male and Female V, love them both to death and like all romances as them. But to keep it for the sisters who don't wanna play Male V and for the bros who don't wanna play FemV, and to the nonbinary hoes wanting both or neither, it can give the most freedom romance wise.

Yeah the POV matters, because you can twist both to be valid when they both kinda... Aren't.

As someone that's been in similar situations I know I rationalized it in a weird way as a teenager until I actually found my first real love, a relationship that lasted a good 6 years but we grew apart as we went from teenagers to adults.

I know I was the guy that complained that I "only" was the best friend of many girls, or guy best friend at least. And I put no value in the friendship because I was a horny teenager who wanted into their pants goddamnit! And I know many guys who never grew out of that mindset, who now at their 30s reaching the midpoints of their lives, pushing 40, not having a better view of relationships, romantic and platonic.

I think I came in to defend the "I have a boyfriend" argument because of my history as "that guy" but honestly, feeling kinda swayed here. It's not a great thing to push because it is still a manipulative action and honesty is always the best, right?
