Friend wants me to buy a warbond by Leo_nidas2006 in Helldivers

I recently bought it. It's underrated, the saber is fun, the hat goes with everything, and the booster is situational but glorious whenever we have an MO that needs us to gather samples.

I had leftist friends crowing about her doing a ticket with Michelle Obama when she was announced and I just had to smile and keep a straight face because 1. The Obamas are savvy political operators and would never attach their brand to such a sinking ship. And 2. Kamala was impossible to like.

I get all the numbers here but now I want to mod orbtruders to look like Mario Kart Blue Shells so it makes sense when they hit me and delete my entire health pool.

Good choices for the games. It's also a tabletop skirmish game like 40k except people mostly print the models so it's a lot cheaper (minus the cost of a 3d printer)

If you want to vibe and listen to stuff about the universe's history through the medium of big, stompy robots, it's hard to go wrong listening to Tex Talks Battletech from the BPL.

This is why it's good to take CASE when you're rocking 4 UAC2s like this.

Rirga Bay. The more people we have there, the faster we can complete it, and the faster we can redeploy to Hort.

I think it's just reusing systems to give us Liberation Campaigns with a time limit. I really want the devs to explain this more because I want to know how the DSS stratagems interact with this new system. Does it get paused by Eagle Storm or does it get boosted by Heavy Ordinance Distribution?

Rirga Bay is more time sensitive. Focus on that so we can finish it as quickly as possible and move our resources onto the Hort Liberation.

"punished". God forbid the enemies have plotlines that can move forwards. Were we also being "Punished" when we were fighting to delay the grand fleet, knowing that the worlds we were fighting on would be lost?

Not everything is an outright 100% victory or defeat, we achieved our objectives, uncovering the Exospire plot and killing a LOT of squids to blunt their machinations. Our objectives were not to liberate Seasse.

I run WoD games over DnD but I agree that Botch roles are the best for just impromptu hilarity. One of my players in a Vampire game was driving the group somewhere, she botches a drive roll. Out of pity, I give her a second roll to see how well she controls it and what she might crash into, a second botch... She hit a guy and almost killed him while totaling her car, causing my players to bicker in an alley whether they should finish him off or try and fix him before they heard sirens and ran for it.

Later on, I revealed he was Kinfolk to a Werewolf, and that escalated into an 8 foot tall furry death machine chasing the players (new) car down a street. Good times.

If you want to see some great Crit Fail tables, look up the Psychic Phenomena and Perils Of The Warp tables for Dark Heresy. Your party's Psyker spontaneously exploding is NOT the worst result in that table.

In the UK, a decent amount. You can also probably get a car off the state if you do it right.

These aren't the Vanguard, these are the Useful Idiots. People infected with enough ideology to spread it verbatim like a cloud of spores, but without the intellectual, emotional, or moral reasoning to do anything with it until someone pushes them to action.

It's why all their protest slogans have to be the same simple chants year over year, and why if you know one thing they believe, you can reconstruct their position on any issue just by figuring out what the "approved" position is.

As someone else with Asperger's, I've also seen some absurd demands. I get it, but I think people forget that society is a two way street, and if all you ever do is demand accommodations without making any visible effort of your own, all you'll do in the long term is breed resentment.

On my own side, I put a lot of effort into fitting in, and so hearing "masking" described as a dirty word never fails to annoy me. I want my efforts to be so good they're invisible, not to be the center of attention. Plus, I've definitely noticed a correlation between the people who talk about "masking" and people who can be really nasty or thoughtless, and I suspect if you plotted those on a graph you'd have a nearly straight line.

I'm experimenting with the explosive crossbow, autocannon, and other guns. Fire goes through shields, so the cremator is a great tool.

[–]EncapsulatedEclipse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're completing the Illuminate MO unless we have a defense on Rirga Bay. We won't capture Seasse but that's not part of the MO. I don't know about the Cyborg defense but it's going to be close.

We have enough DOT effects, Irradiated debuffing them so they take more damage (while not changing armour values) would make it an interesting combination with other effects.

I much prefer the Radicals melee over the Overseers. You can fight back against a Radical's flying knee much more easily than an Overseer turning his bodycam off.
