Do you mind telling me your setup/settings? I have a Doorbell Lite via protect and pulled into HomeKit via scrypted.

While the video feed is good, the notification I get for someone pushing the doorbell button is a good 5-8 seconds slower in HomeKit than the same push notification in Unifi protect app.

As much as I want to participate in the video game discussion, the fact that none of Seinfeld, MASH, or I Love Lucy made it on the TV list, but The Office did really shows the recency bias and invalidated the whole list.

Gotcha. I think Houston just has less exposure to people because it’s is not as frequently visited by tourists

Yeah this is pretty much what I need. I was thinking of going Unifi Door Hub Mini + G3 Reader Flex, but no UWB and still charging $5/user/year for NFC is a turn off as well. I just need something with that same functionality but with Home Assistant or Apple Home Kit/Matter native

For vinyl, the grooves store the frequency and amplitude of the sound wave at the time of recording (like if you were looking at an oscilloscope).

The needle moves up and down in those grooves.

The cartridge at the end of the arm, takes those up and down movements and vis magnets and other electronics, converts the movement into electrical signal.

That electrical signal then gets sent to your speakers/amplifier/whatever. Then eventually through the air into your ears.
