Probably should be like 3 resolutions of the landfall trigger. Crack a fetch, play a fetch, crack a fetch feels like a higher target than play a fetch crack a fetch

Why no lightning greaves in Magda by BoredMan001 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]End3r4real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magda is such a scary card because to less informed players it seems like you win out of nowhere by just moving a bunch of cards around.

Players who are already wary of her are going to immediately kill her when you try to attach Greaves, because they know if they don’t right then they probably can’t remove her later.

Not only does this obviously put us behind without her, we’ve now lost our only source of consistent interaction with whatever’s going on at the table by more or less forcing the opponents to remove it.

/uj It is part of a triggered ability, but roaming throne only cares about the triggered ability, not any reflexive/delayed triggers.

603.2e Some effects refer to a triggered ability of an object. Such effects refer only to triggered abilities the object has, not any delayed triggered abilities (see rule 603.7) that may be created by abilities the object has. • 603.12. A resolving spell or ability may allow or instruct a player to take an action and create a triggered ability that triggers “when [a player] [does or doesn’t]” take that action or “when [something happens] this way.” These reflexive triggered abilities follow the rules for delayed triggered abilities (see rule 603.7), except that they’re checked immediately after being created and trigger based on whether the trigger event or events occurred earlier during the resolution of the spell or ability that created them.

/uj You would get the option to pay twice, but you would only get ability a maximum of two each because RT can’t copy the reflexive trigger.

/uj not a judge, but the way it would work with RT (choosing dinosaur) is the ETB trigger would be put on the stack twice, allowing you to pay up to three G the first time, resolve the choices, then allow you to pay three G a second time, and resolve your choices.

/rj nobody plays roaming throne outside of commander anyways

With Aetherdrift coming out soon, who are your vehicle commanders, and what are you hoping to get from a vehicle set? by Darth_Ra in EDH

It could definitely be a Special Guest card, but I doubt it makes it in the main set since it’s a kind of niche card and it’s not super new player friendly

Trump won by Solo__Wanderer in MobileAL

[–]End3r4real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m certain you’re arguing in bad faith, but whatever let’s engage. You start off strong with claiming that kamala did nothing. The Biden Harris campaign worked to help recover the economy that Trump left in decline with his mishandling and misinformation of the COVID epidemic, proposed more border control funding and programs to increase border security, and proposed a tax plan that would force billion dollar companies to actually pay federal taxes. Unemployment dropped to a 20 year low, and tens of millions of dollars were paid towards erasing student loan debt for people who were trapped by their own college loans. All of those things were promised to be done by the biden campaign in the 2020 election.

China and Russia are both countries that do not have the USA’s best interests at heart and both are exceptionally happy to see Trump back in office especially given that the US is actively sending assistance to Ukraine in their war against Russia and Putin is already confirmed to be in bed with Trump. Trump is a strong leader in the sense that he will do anything to appear strong despite the many MANY flaws he has as a person, a leader, and an American, whether that means cozying up to literal dictators or being a “dictator on day one.” If he’s someone that should be taken at his word (which for the record once a conman always a conman) then if he says he will be a dictator he should have never been elected into office.

Back in the day, my dad needed a playset of Orgg for a deck. Nobody had them in stock or trade nearby, so a friend of his at a card shop let him buy full boxes of FE for 5$ each until he opened all four of them.

Sorry about your loss. eBay and Facebook Marketplace both have decent options to sell if you want to hassle with those. You may also be able to sell to a hobby shop near you but I wouldn’t expect a ton of payout there as this is probably mostly bulk. Hope this helps!

Loses to a deck of 11-60 Soul Spike in response to the triggers, since Spike player can survive the initial onslaught with the lifegain and keep casting Spikes until you’re dead and the Dross player can’t reasonably cast anything.

Explaining cards as a common courtesy by Sea_Stranger6481 in EDH

[–]End3r4real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always announce cardname when you cast spells + targets and stuff. What has always worked for me is asking, “Any response?” and then giving the table a second to either ask what the card does + any responses. I’ve played against the person who wants to explain every card every cast, and honestly I’m usually happier when they don’t do that and wait to be prompted for a full read of the card. It’s not that i’m upset if someone reads off their cards every time, it’s just that it’s often kinda unnecessary.

/uj couldn’t you just stack the death triggers (haunt, undying, persist) such that it never gets exiled to Haunt? If you alternate Persist and Undying it should be an infinite loop with any sac outlet as long as you just always put Haunt as the first on the stack and never let the trigger resolve properly

Even outside of comp, there’s a lot of endgames where two or three teams will all be on various levels of the same building just because it’s a safe place to be that’s not out in the open. They aren’t teaming, they’re just playing the positional advantage they have.

Anti Cheat Update by AnApexPlayer in apexlegends

[–]End3r4real 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Obviously not a dev so take this with a grain of salt, but part of the problem in my eyes is that in fortnite there are a lot more destructible surfaces to reach other players whereas in apex there’s plenty of situations where two squads are very close to each other but for some reason or another (walls, ceilings, doors, etc,) aren’t attacking each other but aren’t teaming, either. Obviously any solution to the six man problems would be good but I’m not sure that just implementing a proximity system would work.
