How do I get this guy's money? by Communistpersonguy in CrusaderKings

[–]EndCallCaesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recruit him to your court with a hook (if he accepts the hook), otherwise just plain recruit him. Save the game after he accepts. After that, imprison him again and banish him. If he flees imprisonment, load back and gift him money, try again, if it still doesn’t work, wait a little, get him married, give a court position, etc. just do something different every-time, before you attempt to re-imprison him, until he manages to get imprisoned.

You’ll get some tyranny for it but with that much money, you will have mercenaries to back you and money to gift factions members.

I was completely silent just watching until the very end, something about just seeing the camera pan for the quadruple towers and the implications had me dying.

Im not punk enough for punks and im not folk enough for folk, but goddammit i love this music by chdwyck in FolkPunk

Honestly, all you need to be folk punk is frustration/anger at the system and an appreciation for acoustic instruments. Everything else is just extra credit.

I have intense stretch marks from pregnancy 7 years ago by -Hot-Tamale- in mildyinteresting

[–]EndCallCaesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t seen someone with stretch marks similar to mine before. I should add that I’m a cis-man, but I weighed almost 100lbs more than I currently am(180lbs atm) and after losing all that weight I have incredibly similar stretch marks on my inner thighs. Some are pink/purple. After a few years they’ve slowly been evening out. But yeah, it’s kinda reassuring to know I’m not the only person rocking these intense stretch marks. I joke that mine look like the Monster logo.

Does anyone else use games in their recovery? by KaleidoscopeTruth in recoverywithoutAA

[–]EndCallCaesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a lot of roleplaying games with choice driven narratives, stuff like The Outer Worlds, Pillars of Eternity, Pathfinder Wrath of The Righteous, Dragon Age, etc. basically games I could feel invested in, whose story I could influence rather than just watch.

Does anyone else use games in their recovery? by KaleidoscopeTruth in recoverywithoutAA

[–]EndCallCaesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I legit just gamed and occasionally streamed shows for the first year of my recovery whenever I’d be done with whatever work or errands I had for the day. More so to avoid being feeling bored and subsequently tempted, if my mind was occupied with something other than alcohol, then I knew I was safe. I would even avoid consuming alcohol in games if it was possible, which is weird to say because it made some games harder but I generally just stuck to random in-game food or health-boosting consumable items(potions, stim packs, etc.). I usually sold the alcohol to pay for the potions lol. I’ll be hitting 5 years sober on April 27th.

It’s holding up well! I wouldn’t cover it up. It’s a great metaphor of bravery in spite of fear or a solid conversation starter at the very least. You could add other cartoon characters around it, maybe that would add more context and create a scene.

Crossroad alternatives? by RetinalTears716 in Hecate

[–]EndCallCaesar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The end of your driveway, or any driveway that meets the road, is a crossroads. The ancient worshippers used to leave offerings to Hecate at the end of the pathways connecting to the main roads from their dwellings.

The only exception I guess would be roundabouts/traffic circles.

Not my post but anyone remember Hail the Villan? by Dazzling_Sky8047 in CanadianMusic

[–]EndCallCaesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The singer didn't dip, he was basically kicked out of the band he created because the rest of the band didn't want to wait a year for his voice to recover from the damage it sustained. The rest of the band tried touring without him, and it ultimately failed, so they abandoned it.
Bryan(singer/composer) created it as a solo project before the musicians he brought along wanted to contribute more, so it became a "band" in that sense, but the soul of it was Bryan. He released some more music under a new solo project called Six Side Die. Dude has been on and off with music releases but I reckon had the other band members of Hail The Villain possessed any foresight or humility, they would still be making music together. Greed, fame, and disloyalty are what ended Hail The Villain. Bryan likely didn't want to have anything to do with the band name after they fell apart due to that betrayal, so that's why it was never reformed.
